Redemption! Amazing espresso machine! It’s truly stunning aesthetically, very well built, and a joy to build a workflow around. The Fast R heats up quickly with the boiler pressure often ready in under ten minutes. The group head may take a few extra minutes to reach stable brewing temperature as described. The rotary pump delivers 9bar-9. 5 bar pressure creating a delightfully smooth and enjoyable crema. A huge step up from my Ascaso dream. We have chosen not to plumb it in yet but may in the future. My experience with Rocket’s shipping best practices and UPS in NY was a bit rocky at the beginning. The WLL customer service and technical teams have been exceptional in responding to the issues. The first machine was damaged by UPS with bent steel on the drip tray holder. WLL helped me return the machine and shipped a replacement unit. The replacement unit on arrival would not load tap water from the water reservoir into the boiler and was throwing an A02 hardware error code. After a bit of investigation with help from WLL technical support (thanks Todd!) a loose wire was identified that disconnected from the start/run capacitor during shipping. It was a quick fix to reconnect the wire and I’ve been running shots back to back ever since without any issues. My one recommendation to WLL would be to add an additional layer of shipping foam between the rocket packaging and UPS box. It’s quite a heavy machine upwards of 60lbs. Outside of shipping best practices it’s a terrific machine, and as always excellent support from WLL. Just UPS please do better!!

Liking the machine very much. A big step up from my previous machine of 13 years. Pulling great shots and getting used to the more powerful steamer. Great support from staff, Phillipa and Kurt if I remember correctly. Phillipa did a Zoom session with me after purchase that was helpful. Also bought a Eureka Oro Mignon SD Pro grinder that is working out really well.

I had dreamed about owning a Rocket Espresso machine for years, and after finally ordering the Appartamento TCA from Whole Latte Love, I can honestly say it has exceeded every expectation. First, this machine is gorgeous. It’s the kind of appliance you actually want people to notice when they walk into your kitchen. But the real magic starts once you pull that first shot. I paired it with a Varia VS6 grinder, and I became completely obsessed with dialing in the perfect espresso. Every tiny adjustment meant I had to pull another shot… and, naturally, drink it. Strictly for quality control, of course. The unintended side effect? My caffeine intake went from “coffee lover” to “small neighborhood espresso bar. ” The upside? I became incredibly productive. Emails disappeared. Projects got finished. The house got cleaned. I briefly considered reorganizing the garage at 10:30 p. m. The downside? At some point I realized I should probably switch to decaf while I continued perfecting my technique because my heart and my Rocket were both running at full pressure. Whole Latte Love made the entire experience fantastic. Shipping was smooth, the machine arrived in perfect condition, and their videos and educational content made learning a prosumer machine far less intimidating. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, I found myself looking for excuses to make “just one more espresso. ” This isn’t just a coffee machine—it’s become my favorite hobby and the best part of my morning routine. If you’re considering buying one, my only warning is this: you’ll spoil yourself forever, your local coffee shop will start seeing a lot less of you, and your friends will suddenly discover they “just happened to be in the neighborhood. ” Five stars without hesitation. Now if you’ll excuse me, I think I need to go dial in one more shot… this time with decaf. 😉

Shipped fast and was packaged well

The first grinder did not work. Customer service was great. I had a zoom call with a tech who walked me through taking it apart in an attempt to fix. It was decided it was a factory default issue and I was sent a new grinder. The new grinder worked right out of the box. I am still perfecting how to "dial in" as I am a first time barista and there is a learning curve. I went through a pound of coffee while working with the first grinder - but WLL tech said he would send me a pound. . . . . . . still waiting. :) Shipping and service was great.
