Fantastic product that looks great and helps protect our flooring

I have tried the regular plastic version and the bamboo “accordion” version and found flaws with each. Having low nap carpet in my home office, both of those would slide with movement of my chair where I would need to constantly adjust them. The plastic would get brittle and warp with time and the bamboo started becoming a hazard because of splinters. Then I saw an ad for Vitrazza glass mats and became intrigued and finally ordered one. It easily solves the issues with the others. It has a very sturdy feel to it and I love how my chair glides over it with little effort. Not to mention, I can see my carpet underneath and not lose that appearance. The rubber bumpers that come with it that you install on the bottom side help it from moving or shifting. It’s a little more expensive than other types of mats, but it’s well worth it! I love my mat and will highly recommend!

I purchased the first glass mat in Dec 2020. I dropped a Mac Pro on it this year (2026) - and yes - it seemed unlikely that the Vitrazza mat would ever break! Hurrying in the morning to work, I left it on the floor spidered now instead of the smooth surface I had come to rely on these many years. I left the mess for the morning, but my wife, in her generosity cleaned up the glass - which was quite an ordeal as the glass is thick and sharp. I did not think about the warranty at that time, but upon return was glad to remember. I check on the stipulations, and while it asked for the photos of the damaged mat (in place), Vitrazza honored the warranty with a picture of the glass in the trash bin. Story gets better - so they ship the 'first' replacement; it is stuck in shipment in Fort Worth TX (someone got a nice glass mat!), so I call back, and straightaway - after calling some weeks w/o receipt - and shipped another glass. I spent a fair amount on the original large mat, which had since gone up in price significantly, but the lifetime warranty really lived up to its promise, and I would never buy another glass mat from elsewhere. Thanks Vitrazza for the experience of enjoying your product and service multiple times with that one purchase!

Recently purchased a 3' x 4' Vitrazza glass office chair mat as well as the hubless office chair wheels. Great combination of durable, classy glass look as well as easy rolling, quiet wheels. Top quality products that nicely enhance a workspace / study area. Very happy with this investment for our home.

I'm really happy with the Vitrazza glass mat. It's WAY better than the crumpled area rug that it replaced.

The chair mat was packed well so that the glass would not break. Although the weight made it hard to move, I was able to remove the mat and install it. It works well, covers the area of the floor I needed and enables me to use my desk chair without worrying about scratching the floor.

Their glass mats are not cheap but you figure the performance, durability and savings in the long run. The difference is unbelievable over any plastic mat. Better for you and your chair plus your wasting money on those inferior plastic mats, constantly changing them out and disposing of them as well. I would never go back to plastic period.
