I purchased 4 ea 18" long x 5/8" wood boring drill bits. The first one couldn't even bore through an 8" pressure treated piling before it wore out. The 2nd one cut just fine through another probably 40+ holes through the same size/type of piling. I haven't tried the third and fourth bit yet, but 1 out of 2, or 50% of the drill bits I tried were defective, either not sharpened, not heat treated, or something, as they couldn't even drill 1 (one) hole.

Ordered 4 each, 18" long wood boring 5/8" drill bits. First drill bit drilled about 1/2 of the way through an 8" piling, with a LOT of effort, and just stopped cutting. Inspected the bit tip. It was DULL! 2nd drill bit drilled just fine through about 16 more pilings just fine, no effort at all, and still sharp! I haven't tried the other two bits yet. I guess the first bit was defective or something, but I'm not about to try this brand again. . . .

Remarkably poor customer service. I chose this company because they prioritized fast delivery. The part was delivered to the wrong address. Toolstoday made me jump through hoops and visit houses in my neighborhood. After determining it wasn’t anywhere in my neighborhood, they fobbed me off to a third party, Route, where I have to start this process all over again. I am told it is typically a week before claims are resolved and replacements are shipped. As of now, Route has my claim sitting in their inbox, unseen.
