Awesome very much what I was expecting!

Love the product and the concept. I will say though, that I was frustrated with the emailed communication about tracking. I kept on asking for tracking via a support email and only received a tracking email on the day I received the product in the mail. when I finally called about this instead of emailing, they were very gracious and proactive. Next time I will just call.

My Futon arrived on time , well wrapped, in perfect condition. It was on my bed withing a half hour.

Its very well made, I absolutely love it and have been sleeping super well without any morning back pain. It took a few weeks to ship and arrive, but it was well worth the wait! Is there a maintenance manual somewhere? I have been flipping it daily, but am curious about hanging and airing requirements, and if the handles can support the full hanging load

I like the bed frame overall, it looks nice. It creaks more than I'd like, and at least part of that might be because of not great assembly of the headboard pieces (more on that below) Assembly was somewhat difficult. The guide holes drilled in the edge pieces for the center beam supports were wider apart than the holes on the actual support pieces. I had to use a drill to make a new guide hole that was actually the correct width. Then, when installing the triangle blocks behind the headboard, the instructions were super vague about where to place them and there were no guide holes for the wood screws. The blocks didn't align very closely to the headboard so as I drilled in the screws and they tried to pull the block flush with the headboard one of the blocks actually split. For the rest of the blocks I didn't tighten all the way, but I think that contributes to the creaking when I lean on the headboards. Overall, I feel like pieces don't fit together quite perfectly in some cases, and the instructions were very vague. Fitting together the base frame, legs, and slats was pretty smooth, although on those steps I feel like the instructions still left out some details that needed to be inferred.

Great quality, perceived fit. The color choices are great, love my Avocado Velvet Microfiber. I'm already thinking about ordering my next one:)

The tatami mats smell so good and provide that nice cushion that a floor does not have. The futon is also wonderful, I got the 5in one and i am so glad i did! I have been resting better over the past week. Thank you all!!

Obsessed with the futon shop! Im an OCD researcher for all things non toxic and health promoting and only the Futon shop met my criteria for my bed mattress of just wool, latex and cotton- NO coils because i also dont want an EMF magnet. I also bought the Tokyo sofa and its SO cozy and looks chic Japanese minimalistic! Love it!!!!!

Everything worked out great!

What a dream this bed is! We purchased the king size 5 inch soft. It is comfortable yet not squishy. My body actually feels rejuvenated and refreshed in the morning and I do not feel stiff. It does need more care than a regular mattress—which I actually enjoy the ritual of— we flip it and rotate it almost weekly and expose it to sunlight and fresh air. We also have our tatami mats underneath it. I also personally love, love, love the smell of wool which it does have, it feels very earthy and natural. There’s an energetic quality to it that feels like nature is truly in the home.
