I cannot say enough good things about this place! Their customer service is absolutely fantastic, and I love that they offer a huge selection of organic product options—everything from pillows and bedding to futons and mattresses. We recently ordered two bed pillows filled with organic wool, a couple of buckwheat neckrolls, and a latex and coconut mattress. We are completely loving all of the products so far! The quality is amazing, and it feels great sleeping on natural, healthy materials. We are so satisfied with this purchase that we will definitely be back soon to select a couple of matching covers for our new mattress. Highly recommend!

The Shiki Futon is very comfortable, I like it. It is surprisingly a few inches longer than the mat I also bought to go with it, but this is not a problem.

Very nice futon. The coconut coir nonslip is pretty difficult to handle and the futon (which I purchased from futon shop a few years ago) slides around a lot without it. Its effective but you cant affix it in place so it becomes dislodged and falls through the slats. Also, it isn't long enough to go the whole length so sometimes one side slides down while the other is in place. I would recommend just getting an alternative nonslip surface that sticks or can be tied to the slats. That being said, the futon is pretty and a comfy bedframe and the wall-hugging function is very cool and works great! I wish the wider part of the futon was the seat if that is possible because I think it would be a little bit more comfortable that way as a couch and I find myself wanting to sit on it at its "stage two" of conversion where the back is flat and the seat is up. Also it would probably slide less that way because the back support wouldn't be so heavy. That might not be possible as a wall-hugger though since it seems like maybe thats more of a matter of design and the way the futon as a whole is set up. So maybe its a trade between a little more comfort as a couch and the wall-hugging function. TLDR; great bed, pretty good couch, skip the non-slip coconut coir pad and get something else to keep the futon in place.

Great-looking chair and an all-around excellent service experience.

High quality. Beautifully crafted. The online instructions were extremely helpful and I appreciate how quickly The Futon Shop returned. my call and tracked down the answer to my question. Happily recommended..

Than you! Perfect color and size...

Best experience yet. Love, love, love the natural wool shikibuton mattress. It is the most comfortable and heat regulating mattress I have ever come across. We like it so much we ordered a twin and Queen. The order was placed on line, we received emails of the order progress and estimated delivery. Everything was so smooth and professionally done.

Comfortable, no plasticky non-natural or does from mattress. Overall, would recommend.

Phenomenal sleep system! Our family can sleep free of back pain. My oldest child got the soft version which is perfect for side sleeping but honestly it's just comfortable all around. I got the firm option and it's too firm for me but that's on me for picking that one. I would definitely love to purchase another set in the future! A friend came over and slept on the soft Osaka sleep system and said it was the best nights rest she's had in a while! Incredibly pleased with my purchase.

I like it.

I absolutely love the wool mattress! The communication, delivery and service were great! I'd recommend this mattress and company to anyone.

The triangles behind the bed don’t fit and the mattress is a little uneven. However, everything is quite sturdy and comfortable!

Great base for my shikibuton. The king size was a rare find.

Very good exactly as advertised

Great

Very comfortable

I love my wool mini body pillow. I use it as my pregnancy pillow and it helps me get better sleep throughout the night.

My massage therapist had recommended I consider a body pillow to help align my spine as I a side sleeper. I actually just searched for options with natural fillings and saw kapok. I'd never heard of it but can say that it's soft, plush and an amazing filling. I've had the pillow for about a month now and love it. The only down-side I experienced was, what I felt, an inflated shipping charge of $34. But the pillow itself is wonderful.

I bought this coir as a barrier between my slat bedframe and latex mattress. Its high quality, thicker than I expected and keeps my mattress from sagging. It keeps the mattress airflow consistent. No complaints, its exactly what I was looking for. This is also the cheapest price I found online and the shipping was faster than expected and it was packaged well too.

It’s been 60 days since our purchase of a Shiki futon mattress. The size was a full mattress, organic cotton, and natural wool 6 inches thick. I no longer have any hip pain when I wake up in the morning. I no longer snore. I’m now able to sleep on my back no more tossing and turning through the night, trying to get comfortable. Also, I have noticed a moderate temperature not having to pull the covers off from getting too hot in the night. I have also noticed that I’m getting a deeper continuous sleep being rested in the morning upon waking. I doubt I will ever go back to a traditional mattress.
