As usual from Shun the gift packaged set arrived quickly in a beautiful box that was perfect as I was presenting this set as a gift. I personally have quite a collection of Shun knives that are very dear to me.

Shipping and packaging all excellent and added to the joy of cutlery in our house.

Not as good at cutting bone as I would like. Not worth the extra expense, for me.

While the steel does do an excellent job of honing my knives, sadly the handle doesn’t match with the knives in the Premier series. They do state that in the description, but it is still a disappointment

I love these hinoki cutting boards. I use them only for vegetables and only with Shun knives. Any staining from vegetables disappears after a few subsequent uses. I'm including a photo of a three year old board. I currently have three boards, 2 medium and 1 small. I highly recommend these boards.
