Customer service is responsive and friendly. Ship time was a bit long, but updates were provided. For the actual sofa, white glove service was a godsend. I live in a 2nd floor walk-up apartment and I never could have dragged those boxes up the stairs. Also I had control over the delivery date, which was crucial.

My experience with Sabai has been seamless!

Sturdy, well-made, easy to assemble, and looks great from every angle. The cushions are comfortable and more lounge-y than expected. The wood is a lighter and warmer tone than expected, but the stain and finish are done very nicely.

I purchased an open box couch. It arrived in perfect condition, was able to set it up myself, and so far am very happy with it

Everything went well when it got shipped. However the shipping was delayed for too long of a time which made me wonder if I would ever get this sofa. Sabai was responsive anytime I will reach out which was comforting.

Shipping was not good. Not all the boxes arrived and I had to go back and forth many times with customer service to fix the issue. Not a pleasant experience.

Shipping was later than originally projected. Some more communication and automation would be helpful.

The shipping of the pillows was okay, although there was an error (which was promptly fixed by Sabai) in that the wrong kind of pillow was initially shipped.

The overall material is good, but the sofa itself feels very poorly built. I was very excited for the sofa, and am pumped for the excellent work that the team is doing. But, for the price I paid, I am unsure I would quantify this as a satisfactory purchase. The longer chaise cushion top refuses to sit flush, it pops out every time you sit down.

Very happy with the sofa. Had a bit of trouble during assembly - at the base of one arm there was a piece of wood sticking out just far enough to where it was stopping the back piece from sliding all the way down into position. Took a solid half hour to figure out what the issue even was, and how to solve it (sliding the back piece down until it hit the obstruction in the arm, and then pulling outwards on the bottom of the arm so that the back could clear the obstruction and slide all the way down). Besides that hiccup, assembly went smoothly. The chocolate brown velvet is beautiful, and the style and proportions of the Essential sofa are perfect. Bench seat is a little firmer than I was expecting, but the good thing about that is the fabric isn’t creasing much after being sat on. I do have cats, they’re behaving themselves for now, but I’m very much expecting to have to order replacement pieces for when the sofa is all scratched up at some future point!
