Not a total scam because I did receive cabinets, and they were wood as promised. However, there were so many defects and parts missing that it was not worth it. Customer service was frustrating. We went the company instead of the other one (with a similar name) simply because they had a color that we liked better. First of all, they only give you one day to inspect and report missing parts and defects after delivery. This is not enough time when you order a whole set of cabinets and are putting them together yourself. They are heavy and all the pieces are stacked flat in the box. So we noticed parts were missing once we put together each one (doing a couple per day). For some little screws,etc. We just went to the hardware store, but it came to the point where parts of the drawer boxes were missing. A cabinet door was nicked, and there were no nailing boards at the bottom, leaving the bottom space open to see the subfloor underneath. The form to fill out online did not work. Then they gave me an email to use to report the missing pieces, and that email did not work. It returned "undeliverable. " So finally, they gave me the email to an actual person, and I reported all the defects and missing pieces. Back and forth which ended up in a phone call (after weeks!). The lady really didn't want to give me the toe kicks/nailing boards because she said, the "suppliers don't include that part" even though it showed in their instructions and said on the website that they were included. And also told me "they don't sell individual parts" but at the same time, they were able to give me a new door for the door that was damaged. Eventually she added toe kicks to my replacement order, but was so sassy about it. After ALL of that, the replacement door given to me was the complete wrong color. Gave 2 stars only because 1. The website functioned well but discounts appeared and disappeared but eventually reloaded in time to order. Was offered 50% off shipping only AFTER placing the order. I asked customer svc to honor and recd an auto reply but was never credited half the shipping fees back. The quality of the shipped pieces were as advertised but scratches were present on the backs of 2 of the cabinets. Overall using the site was sufficient but the delivery was mindboggling. The driver left one pallet on the sidewalk outside my house, not even on my porch. It must have weighed 400 lbs, only partially wrapped in plastic. I had to break open the boxes in the rain to move them by myself up 3 stairs and into my residence. I couldnt believe how little the shipper did to facilitate delivery in a user friendly way.

I have been extremely impressed with the support from RTA - had ordered a wall cabinet and had to cancel due to mismeasurement on our side; called to stop shipment and was successful. Customer Service person was FANTASTIC and very helpful. Received an unexpected follow up call to explain an erroneous email received and clearly they remembered me and the order 4 days later! Would buy from RTA again in the future should the need arise.

After spending $8k on kitchen cabinets you think they would be great. Wrong. You look at them the wrong way and they get knocks it seems like. I have knicks all over the outside of the doors, middle of drawers. Tops of doors. Nothing could touch them or I could drop a spoon of don’t matter. I honestly would have been better off buying from Home Depot or Lowe’s and they would have been much better quality! I even asked about and tried to order a touch up kit. For a small paint pen they wanted me to pay $30 to ship it! Please DO NOT WASTE your money.

I liked the Çabinet’s the quality is good along with the ease of ordering them. Shipping was great. The only thing I didn’t understand was I ordered the shaker style but was shipped flat panels with shaker panels that I had to change out myself it wasn’t a problem just seemed like a waste of materials on your part but other than that all was good and I’m satisfied …. will order again for sure

Overall the cabinets look great after getting them installed. But had to make some substantial modifications in certain areas, and better instructions on how to cleanly cut the treated wood would have been helpful.

$285 shipping is ridiculous.

My husband and I are pretty handy and diy a lot in our house. The kitchen remodel was a little daunting but with the help of Michael our RTA designer we mapped it out and ordered our cabinets. The app that is provided to put your cabinets together is awesome and easy to follow. It you have the right tools it’s so easy that I was able to put some cabinets together myself without my husband.
