The REDARC Trailer Controller worked flawlessly on my 2023 Ford Ranger pulling a small camper. The automatic calibration was accurate as I did not need to manually adjust the brakes.

Tech support (based in Australia) is polite and tries to help but on the ground Redarc support in Houston, Texas is non-existent. Unacceptable. Should have bought Victron.

After checking out the info and installation video I was sold. I was really happy at how convenient and easy the purchase was. The delivery was quick. The installation was easy and non intrusive. It looks like it’s supposed to be there and was very easy to install and set up. Worked perfect the first time which really helped as I was using it on a new to me Airstream with a truck I had never towed with. So glad I found this product.

Great product and easy to install once I had the bracket. The website site said it came with everything to install the controller, but the bracket didn’t come with it. I had to pay an additional $41 for a small bracket and four screws.

This maybe a misleading review, but the reason we’re leaving a 1 star review is that we are missing the bonus universal switch and wiring harness which was supposed to be included with our Tow Pro Elite. I’m sure REDARC will make it right!

I returned the item and it was received May 30, I still haven’t received a refund. I was told I could return it unopened, which I did, and I would be refunded. I’ve yet to see that refund.

The wiring wasn't the good one but I call the good one on your site and to hard to return so 300$ over and no fonctional brake controler

After a lot of research on the best brake controller for our 2024 Subaru Ascent, I discovered REDARC. I contacted customer support (which is challenging given the time differential in Australia) and reviewed what components were needed. The PERFECT set up was the Tow-Pro Elite which I had our Subaru dealership install with the Subaru harness they provided along with the REDARC wiring harness and universal switch insert. The end result was a clean minimally obstructive brake controller that is easy to access and adjust while driving. Works great in Proportional Mode and the manual over ride is as simple as pushing the button. Highly reccomend.
