This maybe a misleading review, but the reason we’re leaving a 1 star review is that we are missing the bonus universal switch and wiring harness which was supposed to be included with our Tow Pro Elite. I’m sure REDARC will make it right!

I returned the item and it was received May 30, I still haven’t received a refund. I was told I could return it unopened, which I did, and I would be refunded. I’ve yet to see that refund.

The wiring wasn't the good one but I call the good one on your site and to hard to return so 300$ over and no fonctional brake controler

After a lot of research on the best brake controller for our 2024 Subaru Ascent, I discovered REDARC. I contacted customer support (which is challenging given the time differential in Australia) and reviewed what components were needed. The PERFECT set up was the Tow-Pro Elite which I had our Subaru dealership install with the Subaru harness they provided along with the REDARC wiring harness and universal switch insert. The end result was a clean minimally obstructive brake controller that is easy to access and adjust while driving. Works great in Proportional Mode and the manual over ride is as simple as pushing the button. Highly reccomend.

Redarc’s customer service is top notch. Mark, who is an actual electrical engineer, replies to a lot of the customer service emails which I thought was pretty impressive and super helpful. I reached out about several different products with multiple questions and he was always kind and helpful and replied within 24hrs. I have a 1000W inverter and a Tow Pro elite from Redarc and I’ve been happy with both. I would say their solutions tend to be a little more all-in-one than say, Victron, so if you have an existing setup it can be a little harder to customize with Redarc’s options, but the quality seems great and it’s the best customer service experience I’ve ever had.
