Just what I needed.

After watching numerous Youtube videos about various Trailer Brake controllers, Redarc stood heads and tails above the rest, and the installation in my 2025 Ford Bronco Outer Banks was easier than expected. While I mounted the controller module underneath and behind the steering wheel, I mounted the controller knob on the side of the steering column molding.

I purchased this brake controller to use with my new travel trailer. The install was plug and play and only took approximately 15 minutes to complete. We have taken two trips, and the controller has worked as advertised. The only issues were when initially picking the camper up we parked for about 20 minutes and when we got back in the truck to leave the emergency brake feature would not release the travel trailer brakes. I was able to turn off the truck, unplug the travel trailer hook up and plug it back in and the issue was corrected. Overall, this product has been great, and I truly enjoy the sleek factory styling that fits my truck.

The trail pro kit has everything needed to hook a trailer brake up to my truck and make everything straightforward and super easy to install and use. The whole kit being plug and play makes it so easy to install and figure out the best way to mount the system. The brakes works well and the adjustment is very nice on the go using the small discrete knob placed in the dash. When the trailer is not in use the button is tucked away looking like it came as OEM inside the truck. Very pleased with the purchase and well worth the price for the piece of mind and usability of the trailer brake kit.

plug and play wiring for a 25-frontier perfect -just make sure plugs are seated in sockets before reassembly of panels. control switch did not fit in blank plug without doing a lot of work -which I did not do, might later though, bought the switch plate to use. control box mounting was a pain in the ass very little room, almost no flat surface and pain to secure down not sure if Nissan changed drivers side kick plate but there was almost no room for control box, did make it work after struggling with it. there is room around hood latch handle, BUT IT WOULD BE IN THE WAY OF AIRBAG - NO GO - will be making a mounting plate at later date

The installation went smoothly but I got the in dash dial for a 2end gen Tacoma and it isn’t sized correctly it smaller than the blank plug it replaced it works but looks a little funky

Installation was very straight forward and REDARC's published install videos were 100% clear and easy to follow. This is my first experience with a brake controller and it really worked for our first adventure. I love that it is tucked away under the panelling.
