Compared to the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite with the old messed up firmware, this is awesome! Travelled for 16 days with zero glitches.

Since you asked, I was disappointed with the install experience. I’m happy with the REDARC brake controller itself. The plug-and-play wiring worked, and once installed, the trailer brake auto-adjusting function worked great. My issue is with the vehicle-specific kit for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler. Since it was sold as a Jeep-specific kit, I expected the install to match the video and fit in the location shown. Instead, the mounting bracket/bar that goes under the steering column panel did not seem to fit correctly and had to be bent and contorted so much it would have made Cirque du Soleil jealous. I threw away the box and paperwork after the install, but I believe one of the parts included in my order of CIKTP-NA-006 may not have been the correct part for my Jeep. Overall, I’m happy with the REDARC product and how it works, but the vehicle-specific install experience was more frustrating than expected, especially on a hot day. For a kit marketed as specific to my vehicle, I expected a cleaner fit and a more straightforward installation.

Works great for my 3k lbs travel trailer. Easy to install, I did get the wiring harness so it was plug and play.

The controller was so simple to install. Took me almost as much time to figure out where to locate the switch as it did to install it. And the learning process was so simple. I am extremely satisfied with this controller.

The brake controller seems to work well. The insert for the switch did not fit my vehicle at all. It has the clips on the sides and my vehicle had the clips in the top. I paid extra for this item and thought it would be a perfect seamless oem look and fit but that was not the case. The do take controller seems to work and power up as expected and was easy to install with plug and play technology and NO wire

Installation was pretty easy in a 22 Tacoma. Camper is much more stable with the brakes working.

It worked absolutely perfect in my Nissan Pro 4x4. Super easy install! It was simply plug and play.

Had to return Smart Battery block because it did not suit my setup. Shipped back and was refunded in a timely manner.

Installed in a 2007 Toyota Tundra. The kit came with everything one could need. All the wire harness as well as multiple blanks to install in the truck. Installation was a breeze. Highly recommend this kit!

I had to wait for the rain to clear here in South Texas to do the install, but once it cleared the install was very easy. The Nissan Titan had the connector pre-installed from the factory. It was a simple connect to the cable from REDARC to the Liberty electric brake module then I had to find a place to install the dial. I decided to use the blank cover where the 4x4 dial would have been in my truck if it had 4x4. This was a lot easier than ripping my dash apart to connect to a switch below the A/C controls. All the lights came on once the 7-pin was plugged into the truck. I’m waiting to take the RV on a trip to really test the braking system. Thumbs up on our next adventure with REDARC by our side.
