I’ve been extremely happy with my Backyard Beast 1200! The smoker is very well built, easy to use, holds temperature great, and has made it easy for me to get started with pellet smoking. Everything I’ve cooked on it so far has turned out great. What really impressed me, though, was recteq’s customer service. My grill arrived with a damaged/scuffed leg and a scratch on the barrel from shipping. I contacted customer care, and they took care of the situation without giving me the runaround. They replaced the damaged leg and gave me a credit for the cosmetic damage to the barrel. They were responsive, professional, and genuinely seemed to care that I was happy with my purchase. A great product is important, but knowing the company stands behind it makes a huge difference. Between the quality of the Backyard Beast 1200 and the way recteq treated me after the sale, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. Definitely a 5-star experience!
