I was given these candles for Christmas. When I unwrapped them, one of the candles fell apart. I wrote to Mikasa and they demanded a receipt to even discuss restitution. Of course, I do not have a receipt. I now have two candles that I fear will also fall apart when I bring them out

The replacement plates are unfortunately very different in color (look yellow against my original ones) and embossing around the perimeter is much less distinct because the glazing is so much thicker.
