Good delivery time.

I have the Lon Dubh and have had it for around three years. I have loved it and wanted a keyed version. I thought the tone would be similar, basically the same instrument plus keys. I find this one much better and enjoyable to play. The low D rings very well and the tone I find easier to keep consistent. I prefer this one over the Lon Dubh not just because of the keys (which I rarely use), but because it sounds better and is a better experience. The Lon Dubh had some air leaking from poor cork seals, I took it to the shop and they were able to fix it. This one has string instead of cork, some of the connections are hard to disconnect and because of that a lot of the times I keep it connected. One of the connections doesn’t connect all the way (but doesn’t seem to leak) and has come out during playing. When it came apart I was able to put it back together mid tune before the next phrase so no big deal. I suspect I’ll have to take it in at some point to help with these issues but it’s not a game changer. Overall dispute those issues I am very happy with this instrument. I believe my connection issues can be solved and don’t effect the tone. Some on the internet have said that the done sounds “plastic” or synthetic compared to wood, I can somewhat agree but it’s ease of play, the fact that you don’t have to worry about caring for it as much, and the consistency in tone that it gives you all make up for any “synthetic” sound quality it has. It doesn’t exact sound like wood, but it still sounds beautiful and very professional and worth performing with in any setting.

My only grievance is that I never seemed to be able to speak to some one on the phone. All communication was by E-mail. but I'm still very happy

Una maravilla rapidez en el envío y buena atención al cliente. Un 10

Such a smooth process - online ordering was easy and delivery was ahead of schedule and very securely packaged. Great experience.

I am so pleased that I get access to a trial period of music lessons with my instrument purchase! It's been wonderful to immediately start practicing and not having to research and figure out how to learn on top of it all.

Great service. I had the whistle within a couple of days shipped from Ireland to Germany! Thinking of purchasing another whistle from Mc Neela!

Excellent service. Delivery to Australia was quicker that I thought it would be.

fast sending of the Products and very good package.

I love McNellla Music because all my questions are answered so quickly and thoughtfully. I couldn’t believe how fast I got my new whistle and actually thought it was a mistake when I was told its arrival time. (I’m in the US) Nope, it was here before lots of items I’ve ordered online that have come from within the country. I can’t say enough good things about McNella Mudic service. Thanks so much for all you do.

love that instrument

Great quality instrument. The online learning that comes with this purchase is top-notch. Definitely recommend.
