The Tony Dixon low D whistle is excellent. I did some research before purchasing, and my budget was in the sub $500 area, so this was definitely the ideal whistle for my needs. I'm still getting used to the spacing, but the tone is great, and I'm excited to have a low whistle. I purchased a standard high D Wild Whistle from McNeela music a while back, and I trust them to be a great source for legit Irish whistles and instruments with excellent service and good pricing. I love my McNeela Irish accordion. It came really well packaged all the way from Ireland to Australia, in just about one week. It came with access to 5 months free tuition online (pre-recorded) which is really helpful. I am halfway into the intermediate lessons and I am sure I will continue with my practice. It's a beautiful instrument, light with a great sound.

It shipped from Dublin Ireland to the Kansas City area in the US in less than a week, that includes Customs. It arrived as expected and to be honest, I used to work for Fed Ex so I know how some of that stuff is treated so I was a little apprehensive, but this package was not handled by the likes of those I used to work with.

The instrument came to Greece far earlier than expected, in perfect condition and safe package.
