Ridiculously poor experience. Spent days considering several lighting options, all showing significant levels of being in stock. After finally making a decision based on the new decor and placing the order for an item that showed 22 items in stock, received an email the next day saying the item is out of stock and no longer available. What a complete waste of my time.

This lampshade is beautiful. It looks great on my lamp. I love it. It came sooner than I expected and though the box was not in perfect condition, the shade inside was. My quibble is with the website. There is only one image of each shade making it hard to tell exactly what it looks like. The photo of my shade looks like the shade had perfectly straight edges. It does not. It flairs a little. Every shade is labeled “Only10 in stock!) and then “this piece is made to order. ” How is this possible? If it’s made to order, it’s not in stock. The website advertised that I could sign up for emails and get “up to 25% off. ” I do see that it says “up to”, but it only took off 3%. I love my lampshade but your marketing is deceptive and the website is skimpy.

This lamp replaces a nearly identical Maxim post lamp that we installed in 2005. Ordering the lamp was easy, and it arrived in just a few days. The lamp installation was quick and easy. Instead of wire nuts, I used WAGO connectors, which are easier to use and more secure. I am impressed with the Vivex material. It is light, beautiful, and the parts fit together better than with our old resin post lamp. Two Comments: 1. There is a large gap around the bottom of the globe and also three weep holes in the base where rain, spiders, and insects can enter. This was a problem with our old lamp, and it will be a problem with this one too. We will need to periodically dismantle the lamp, remove the cobwebs, and clean the globe. I will experiment with strips of adhesive foam between the glove and base to seal out rain, spiders, and insects. 2. The steel hollow threaded rod that connected our old lamp together rusted through, causing it to fall apart. Consider using brass or stainless steel threaded rods in all outdoor lamps. This inexpensive upgrade that would make a world of difference.

Great service and delivered promptly

Ordering was easy, showed plenty of item in stock. After several days had not received shipment tracking, called customer service and Kelsey, who was very helpful and polite explained that a lot of items offered are drop ship from manufacturer. Mfg. was moving the warehouse and took an extra week to ship. For me, item was not time sensitive this time but if you need quick delivery I would suggest contacting customer service before ordering to check availability.
