Tapes were processed faster than expected. Audio was also much lower than expected. Box sent back with my originals offering me to send more tapes at a cost of $12. 00 per tape when they are advertising $8. 00 per tape. Enjoying having my memories digitized.
I’d love it if there were pricing for mom & pop businesses that will keep bringing in conversions.
Mostly good. The only difficulty was how to SHARE videos-- it did not work to email a forwarding video easily from a cell phone? instruction page should say copy the link first from the box then enter the email address and PASTE THE LINK that was copied INTO the persons email address MESSAGE. That was the only way it would work. The email share box choice doesnt work any other way?
I am satisfied overall with the results, but wish there were some automatic edits like taking out blank space in my videos and no charge for blank tapes. Also, wish there were enhancements available too. I hear other companies use AI technology. Shipping was slower than I expected. Good thing I wasn’t it a rush.
Very disappointed. On one it just keeps flipping. I can’t see what’s on the file. One of them is so dark it’s hard to see it. I’ve used legacy box in the past, and I’ve been pleased. This time I I was very disappointed.

I APPRECIATE THE RAPID TURNAROUND BUT WAS SURPRISED THERE WASN'T AN INDEX OF IMAGES INCLUDED WITH THE ONLINE FILES. .
I mailed back 4 boxes & only received 1 box back. I spent a lot of time organizing my photos 25/envelope all faced in the same direction. Scanning as disappointing because many of the pictures were scanned in the wrong side! Can u let me know how we track the other boxes & correct the 1st box I received. I was very satisfied. One tape came back with audio only and they made it so simple to return and replace. It’s when you have an issue that you realize whether or not a company has good customer service. Legacy box exceeded my expectations!

I have just submitted my fourth order for digitizing 40 videos. The clarity of instruction given to me for my last three orders, care of the videos during processing, communicating and expediency from start to finish has definitely exceeded my expectations. I would and have already recommended Legacybox to anyone needing their treasured videos and photos digitized. Our three-generation family will get to enjoy videos from the 1980s through 2010 during this upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
This was a gift from my kids after the scared from the CA fires. They wanted us to have some pictures digitized. It took me a very long time to gather all the pictures. I don’t receive a drive as expected. The scans are on their website you have to retrieve them signing into account. but account is on the name of purchaser not the gifted person All emails went to the person that ordered even thought I had called to explained it was a gift and photos should be returned to me and account should be on my email. Still all communication went to her not me but with my email and her passcodes took us forever to figured out - MAYBE NEXT TIME IT IS A GIFT should be done more smoothly counting thet the gift is the persons receiving the photos! Finally i was disappointed of quality some many of the photos Many where blurry ,and there are dust marks in many too

This was the first time I have used Legacy Box and I found the service to be very useful for items I could not digitize myself. I can't figure out why they use such a big box for items that are normally pretty small but that is what they choose to do. I will probably use the service again when I need to.
I submitted 9 tapes to be converted and only got 4 videos. 2 were blank and I didnt realize it but the other were duplicated. I won't be suckered into this again.
Very dependable and easy to work with.
I sent 9 tapes in to be converted and received back nine digital files that consisted of nothing more than static, bluescreens, or broken audio. My issue is not that I received back worthless files, it's that I received zero explanation as to why. Now I am left questioning whether I was just ripped off, or whether my families film is actually damaged. I'll have to spend more money to head to another independent party to figure it out. In light of this experience I will never use legacybox again and I will discourage all friends and family from using this service.
This is the second time I have used Legacy Box and I was very impressed with the turn around this time. It was less than a month and the picture are great!
So glad I had this done. My memories from old vcr tapes and 8mm tapes are now preserved. Legacybox made delivery so easy to do. I highly recommend this company. Linda
