Customer service and shipping were spot on !

Quality was less than expected. "Prehung" door but the jamb was never actually assembled, head jamb has no holes for attaching side jambs and head stop was loose in box. Side stops are stapled through the face and holes not filled (attaching the stops from the back of the jamb would have been cleaner). Prefinished, door has many areas of raised grain and jambs have rough surface.

Single door went fine. Double doors were not cut right. Had to remove double doors and cut down header,threshold. Re mortise flush bolt anchor. Repair frame.

The door came on time and for the most part looked great. A few spots of stain had rubbed off during shipping and top of door never got stained and is white that we see from the second story. Wish there was a touch up kit of some sort. Otherwise easy to install and looks great!

I got a beautiful door with doggy door, and I love it! My shepherd mix goes in and out with no problems, my puggle on the other hand is a little more hesitant as he is used to flap-style doggy doors

I had a delivery problem in the beginning. I would never use the delivery company however trying to get a door shipped. Intact is complicated so it’s OK. It did get No issues. The only real problem I had was the finish that they stained the door with was bleeding onto the glass and it was a pain in the you know what to get rid of. I wasn’t expecting that.

We had a good and easy experience ordering and receiving our front and back exterior doors for our new home from Krosswood. Great customer service + quick response time as well.

I never received my order

The door was darker than in the pictures, ( I ordered English Chestnut). But its hard to judge based on online photos. - I didn't care but my wife does. I did have the door installed by professional carpenters who hang windows and doors every day. They plumbed everything with lasers and shims. The door is a little warped and does not seal tight at the top and the bottom corner. I adjusted the striker plate as tight as I can get it, but you can still press the top of the door in towards the frame when it is closed. They shimmed everything the best they could. I believe this is just do to the frame not being cut to proper dimensions and the door being warped. The old door that came out sealed perfect and the hole for the door was very square. It looks beautiful but I will need to install something to seal it better. If you are not worried about perfect fitment, I would recommend. If you want it to be air tight, you should probably get a different door.

Very easy process from start to finish.

I ordered about 10 beautiful krosswood doors from Home Depot and received them without an issue. I liked them so much I decided to order an entry door to match, directly through krosswood this time. Upon placing the order online, I realized there was no option to pick a stain on the website, so I immediately emailed to notify krosswood that I wanted it stained a specific color. No reply after a few days so I sent another email to sarah@krosswood rather than the generic help email. No reply before I got a shipping email so I called the customer service number and was told I'd have to send additional payment in order to get the stain. Fine, I may not have bought it from krosswood if I knew that ahead of time, but fine. Door finally arrives, contractor informs me it's the wrong handing. I confirm that it's different handing than the one on my order details. Then I realize it's not even the right door - looked like an interior door with exterior jambs, no window, no bars, totally wrong. Several more emails, calls, and points of contact later and it's finally on its way. Will it be right when arrives? Chances aren't looking good.

Beautiful doors!

The door is very nice and overall the quality is good but it had a lot more knots in it than I expected and there were little bristles from the brush used to stain the wood that were stuck all over the door I had to pick them off and some left marks. Not as high quality treatment as I would have expected for such an expensive door.

Contacted Krosswood about our 7 year old Speakeasy door. It has muliple cracks and seams were separating- you can see light from outside from inside the house. They asked for pics, receipt, if the door was under roof and regularly stained. Yes it is. We asked for help in how to repair. We were told a 7 year old door is older. The warranty is 1 year. We should contact a local repair company. We paid thousands of dollars for a door Krosswood does not expect to last 7 years, but would be glad to sell us another! A one year warranty is poor. We will be replacing the door - from a local company who cares about the quality of their product.

Its a really unique look and conversation piece. My wife was 1st hesitant and I said WHY NOT. Why reuse the same old same old 6 panel or 4 panel conventional wood door. IF we get into a fight or you want to LOCK OUT the kids..........you can open the hatch and ask for the secret password. Its great and I added additional clavos. If you want a picture I can send it to you.

Doors arrived as promised. I didn’t unpack them for a few weeks while waiting on a contractor to install them. One of the doors (36”) however was slightly damaged at the upper hinge. I’m not sure if it’ll be visible once installed as I’m still waiting on contractor and response from Krosswood Doors. Overall the quality appears to be good.

This door was purchased as a slab and fitted by me… luv it but wish I could afford the side lites to match…
