The whole process was seamless. My box came, I tagged all my items with the barcode (only small hiccup was my old reels were small with limited area to stick the barcode). My items were available way sooner than expected and it has been a joy to watch them.

While the overall process was relatively quick, I believe I was misled with the description of the process, saying that they would digitally process all photos. I thought this meant that they would to some extent sharpen the pictures, sharpen the colors and perhaps fix small blemishes, but that did not happen. It’s essentially just scanning pictures in and making them available digitally. Additionally, half of the files were images of the back of photos. Well, I understand the reasoning for this it was very cumbersome to “weed out“ all of these images to only preserve the photos. although I received two files – one for photos and one for backs of photos there were many mixups between the files with at least 30 to 40 images in the “back of photos“ file.

FIrst, I paid for 4 VHS tapes to be digitized. I received an email saying that one of them was "blank" and could not be digitized. There was no mention of a refund at all. Second, I received an email today saying that you had shared my digitized material with LegacyBox. com. I NEVER gave permission for my material to be shared with any company. So for over $60, I got 3 horrible tapes, was charged for one that I got nothing for, and my digital material was given to a third party without my permission.

Quick turn around. I’m disappointed that the West Point graduation was over exposed and unable to be digitized. Should have done this earlier.

I've held onto an 8mm film my brother made in the 1960s, not knowing what was on it. How wonderful to see my brother, our parents, and many beloved friends again! Thank,you so much!

It was amazing to see old 8mm films come to life!

We sent several boxes for digitizing. Some of them came back just fine, but some of them did not. On two of the boxes the photos were digitized on BOTH sides so was got a lot og images that were blank white. These all had to be manually deleted before loading into our digital frame. It was very time consuming and unfortunate.

I was told one of my TAPES was blank. I played it again on my VHS player and the beginning is blank but a few minutes through, it does have video on it. I never received the dis. If it and never received a refund for what I paid for it

My cassette tapes wouldn’t work when they sent me the files

Terrible digitization from VHS to digital download. One of my VHS tapes needed to calibration during the recording, but it never happened. The message keeps popping up during the recording process. Sloppy result due to lack of attention. I would like you to re-record my VHS tape and set the calibration properly this time please. Thanks

The on line download is very hard to use. I had a lot of slides and the way they are returned is overwhelming. My digitized slides are dark and contrasty Some faces are hard to see. The slides were absolutely not that way. Very sorry i paid the money to do this. I have always trusted Kodak until now.

I’m deeply disappointed in the transfer of our family’s 8mm film. The aspect ratio is completely wrong, not taking into account the 8mm frame and the scan cuts of the top of the footage framing it as a rectangle instead of a square. Often, the head and shoulders of the subjects are completely out of frame. Terrible scan quality. Much of the footage is useless to me.

Sent a Sony Betacam SP tape, nothing on their website says the can't do this format. Tracked the process on their webpage, everything progressing, then get a message can view the finished tape online, but when followed the links nothing was there. Couldn't get anyone to tell me why. Then week later get the tape back with no explanation, except a little sticker on the tape said they don't do this type of media. Extremely poor customer service.
