The almost 20 year old knife has lost its sharpness and great blade geometry. knifewear brought it back to close to it’s original glory

I like this better than the metal one since the little stone/metal particles don't get as easily caught in the moving parts. My favourite position is to set this under the tap and keep the water trickling while I sharpen.

I have bought many gizmos over the years to sharpen my knives, but always came back to my sub standard and small sharpening stones. I recently bought a couple of decent size stones as recommended by the staff at the south farmers farmers market. I found out that my technique was lacking. And I’m now looking forward to taking the in person course.
