From a retired master technician this tool is a must. The all module scan is an excellent idea for the DIYer. I can see codes from modules that have no live data from but with that code information I enough to know where to start my diagnosis. What a help. The scan tool is user friendly and is an excellent way to connect into today’s vehicles.

This is a pretty good DYI unit. I had an older model 3130 and upgraded thru Innova's upgrade program. While this unit does way more than the previous model, not all functions it claims to have, are compatible the every model of vehicle, buyer beware. Although not a deal breaker, my hopes were higher. The addition of the Repair Solutions 2 apps is a very nice feature. It would be nice to clear the previous scanned data in the app to do a clean scan and see the updated results. The feature could be there, I just haven't been able to find it. I've ran the vehicle while driving to see how the data does live update as to the data being provided. There is an obvious lag with updating the data, although not a deal breaker, it's not instantaneous. One of my concerns, the unit say's I have codes P0102 and P0113 indicating a Mass Airflow Senor and Intake Air Temp sensor issue. Vehicle only has 68K miles and the sensors are clean, vehicle run great and is well maintained. While reviewing live data during the drive, I referenced the total Calc Load. When applying WOT, the Calc Load displayed 100%, which is what it should be indicating a misread of the previous mentioned codes. Anything under 70% Calc load would definitely trigger the codes to be displayed (my understanding). Although again not a deal breaker, to the novice it could cause one to head to the store and start buying parts to replace, when not needed. I'm still learning the device and it does a good job displaying data. Overall, for the price and the ability to upgrade from older models is something Innova has definitely improved over other DYI devices out there.

I was able to trade in an old Innova ODB2 for a 1000 model. The whole process went very smoothly and I was able to use the unit right away. Great experience.

The unit and the app worked together without problem. I tested it on a car that has a known code in it and the unit found the code and also gave me some additional information that my old discontinued Innova tester did not provide. I'm happy with the purchase

Very solid scanner does it all and for the price it can’t be beat. Also the Bluetooth function is really great with all bells and whistles. Would highly recommend it.
