I have ordered my garlic from Gurney's for several years, and for 2 different climates. All of it has grown successfully, and the product descriptions are accurate. While I don't miss living up north, I do miss the ability to grow a good hardneck garlic in south Texas. I do recommend the Transylvania as a very good softneck variety.

I wasn’t happy! I ordered 3 of the beets in the tape and 3 carrots in the tape and I received just seeds.

I am very unhappy with ordering from Gurneys. I ordered zinnia and marigold seeds in May - which is kind of late for my area to be planting seeds. They were not shipped until after June 01 because that's when Gurneys thought they should be planted in my area. Unfortunately, it been too wet to plant, which isn't unusual in this part of Illinois at this time, to plant. Consequently, I will probably not plant them. I'm not sure where they got the idea that planting seeds directly should wait until June 1 -15 in my area. This happened last year with sunflower seeds, so I planted the seeds this year - they didn't grow. Not very happy with the company.

I bought seeds and will plant them this September. No problem with this shipping.

I had to order more tomatoes alive. I can't believe how fast and healthy my tomatoes are growing!! Their already starting to get little flowers and I ran out of the fertilizer.

All products are top of the line. I am a beginner and have had the best results in everything that I purchase from Gurneys , everything grows!
