Ordered 2 varieties of potatoes and a pack of hot pepper seeds. My order shipment kept getting pushed back more and more. One day I check my bank account and see i have a refund from gurneys so I looked at tracking info to find out they canceled one of my potato orders with absolutely no communication! I finally got an email about the cancelation DAYS after it was already processed through the bank. A month of waiting for nothing. Should have went elsewhere to begin with and now I have potatoes a month later than I wouldve liked for our zone.

Second order, got good results with the corn seeds ordered last year

I ordered 6 items in January. I received only 2 items. 3 plants are now out of stock and will not be shipped. 1 plant is now arriving in September. Very unreliable company. Wish I could give negative stars.

I was disappointed by the tardiness of plant deliveries or the cancellations well into late spring. Seed packets always seem to arrive in timely fashion.

The rhubarb bulb has not put out even one sprout. I was really hoping it just needed more time but no luck.

Ordered a blueberry bush and it's thriving. It came packaged properly and even had growing foliage. Im very happy with it. The problem is the strawberries. I Ordered two different varieties. One variety never did establish, and only half of the second variety. I called customer service and she said that I should wait it out. I waited longer knowing that there was no activity, that they were dead. I emailed the company with no response.

I was charged $6. 99 for shipping 1 packet of 500 turnip seeds via regular us mail! It was 5 days before I received them! All they needed was an envelop and a regular stamp. riduculous!

I only buy from Gurneys for my fruits and veggies. . . . and, even for a lot of my flowers. I trust them because of years of experience with them. And, for an old untech lady like me, their websight is easy to use - uncomplicated and fast and informative. You can't go wrong with these people.
