I bought this as a replacement for my waterproof synthetic mattress protector when realized that it was probably contributing to my sweaty, overheated sleep. The wool protector has definitely helped regulate my sleep temperature and I am sweating less through the night! Be warned there is a bit of a ‘barnyard’ smell when wet after washing, but it goes away when dry. I think it’s just the natural scent of wool when wet, more proof that it’s a natural product!

I've had the Goldstream 11 inch Hybrid for about 6 weeks. I bought the medium firmness. As other reviews have pointed out, it is rather firm, even for a medium. I bought it for my 6-year-old, so I have only slept in it myself on about 2-3 occasions. I am a stomach and side sleeper. I find this mattress to be perfect for stomach sleeping, and slightly less better for a side sleeper, especially if you have hips. A pillow top might be remedy for this. My kid seems to find it comfortable enough, and has not complained about it at all. I am not so sure about the breathability part of it, but I haven't sensed a big difference from my more conventional mattress. Overall, I feel like it was a good purchase and good firmness for a kid to start out with.

It was a pressure free experience! Everyone at the Nanaimo location was very lovely, knowledgeable and patient. they encouraged us to hang around as long as we needed on each mattress in order to make the right choice. Really appreciate the staff and time we received.

We used to love our firm mattress but were waking up with sore hips and shoulders (age & injuries - life happens!). Went into the store to look for a new pillow, and while the sales person was fine, she certainly didn't provide a ton of help choosing the best one. I chose one that seemed fine at the time, but after a month or so, it's just not the right one and now I'm stuck with it. The pillow is fine, but it would have been nice to get a bit more feedback from the sales person so I knew exactly what I was getting.
