Great company and product
Filters dont last very long
I started using express water products in 2017, I liked the whole house water filter so much that I started recommending them to my customers, as I’m a plumber. I’ve installed 22 whole house water filtration systems for my customers over the years, but here is why I will no longer be using express water; I have a model 6 tankless reverse osmosis system and was paying a subscription for the replacement filter/bladder. I got notified that the items were out of stock for 6 more weeks, the day I was supposed to be receiving them. My reverse osmosis system stopped functioning because the filters needed to be replaced. So this is reason number one, as I want a more reliable company, without having to worry about not having drinking water for an extended period of time, especially when I’m paying a subscription to have them always on time. I emailed the company back-and-forth, but received no sort of resolution or help, and had to resort to buying drinking water from the grocery store. The second reason I will no longer be using this company is because I was promised three years ago that I would earn incentives, as I’m a contractor that has been using express water products for my customers. Express water replied to my email saying that they would contact me via phone, but I never received the call, and when I replied to the email, I also got no response. In conclusion, I want a less stressful, more reliable, and easier company to deal with.
Can't review something that I never received
Not cleaning brown water!
great all around
I find switching the filters very difficult.
Great customer service.
Seems to be working, it reads 45-50 psi but I believe gauge pressure is not what I wish to know. I would like to know what the ROM filter is getting for pressure as my well pump pressure is only about 45 psi. I purchased the booster so that the ROM would have over 80 PSI as I understood that it would be more efficient that way. So it would be nice to be able to monitor the input pressure of the ROM. Other than that the system is working, but is it working as well as it can? Being an ME I think these thoughts and ask these questions.
so far so good!
Easy to install and water tastes great. I was also impressed with the water pressure and the amount of water you can have in one dispense. If you have any issues, costumer service is great and they respond pretty quickly.
Filter works great especially for reducing scale at faucets and shower heads.
Everything from the call to order the filter, to receiving it was great! We will be a life long customer!
Took to long to receive
the ballast box is still ticking and the red light is still flashing - help?
Received the chiller on time. Customer service is very supportive too.
The system is easy to install. It’s too early to tell how we like the system yet.
Shipping was quicker than expected. Some parts are cheaply made, but the system works well.
During the installation the plumber ran into a leak between the GAC & SED crossover. I had to contact Express Water and got a replacement part. No longer a leak. Problem number two: The SED gauge didn’t show any presser level at all, GAC pressure level of 48 & ACB of 50. The ACB gauge showed an oil level considerably then the other two gauges. Again, I had to contact Express Water. Their answer was not all gauge’s shoe accurate readings. Their answer was trying one of two possible approaches. First was to try a 3-step approach. I followed the step-by-step procedure to try to acquire presser in the SED gauge and not work. Second approach was to purchase a TDS meter to check the quality of the water. I not only purchased a TDS meter and purchased a new gauge. The water quality in the house is in the GOOD range and the water pressure in the house unchanged, has not been degraded & good pressure. The end result one gauge not showing any pressure and two gauges showing between 48 -50. Is the filter system working ???. I’m not sure. For the price I didn’t expect these many issues.
I purchased this 3-stage filter to be a key component in a multi-stage system to address my low-production well with extremely poor water quality. The other filtration components were from other firms. I selected the WH300SCKS because of its high quality metal frame and pressure gauges to monitor every stage and its clear sump for the initial sediment stage. Unfortunately, the unit failed out-of-the-box. The clear sediment sump leaked like a sieve. The replacement sump was a different design incompatible with the original unit. The second replacement, an entire WH300SCKS system, had exactly the same problem as the first. After I demanded a refund, Express Water's Customer Service went radio silent. I got a refund on the unit I purchased when I returned it to Home Depot. Their other stuff now sits on a shelf waiting from Express Water to send a return shipping label. I replaced the removed WH300SCKS with a similar unit from another firm. It worked first time without problem and is filtering my water now. Based on multiple interactions with this firm, I believe they have a serious quality control problem with their manufacturing arm. The people are friendly, but the results are unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from this firm. I hope they'll get their act together someday.
