Website advertised an additional discount for 1st time buyers but they didn't honor their promise.

The quality of your filters is second to none.

The product description says it's for under-sink RO installation, implying a raw water connection under the sink with a 3/8" hose. However, the connection is from the faucet. If I block the faucet, how can I wash my dishes? It's frustrating. I've tried to return it, but the shipping and repackaging process is a nightmare. The customer service has been terrible.

The Elite RO unit is the best there customer service is great. When you have so many folks selling these types of units the people make the difference. I have one of these in my parents and several friends houses as well as my own. We have had them for year. Also the performance is great. I am in the advanced water treatment industry on a large scale and for small units like these there is none better. Recently I had ordered a new set of filters and while doing the service on my unit I damaged my sediment filter. All my fault. There customer service was able to let me order just the new filter I needed. They could have made me order a whole new set but went out of there way to help me out. I will be a life long customer.

As a single man, I used to put my 4 gallon jug in a suitcase and take it on the bus to the supermarket. Now, I filter my own water at home, so I don't have to waste money on bus fare. It takes time, but it is a lot easier than before. There doesn't seem to be anything similar, at this price point. I was just checking, and similar systems are all more expensive. Yesterday, I used filtered water to cook dry beans. I did an experiment with two pots, same no. of dry beans. Same amount of water, same size burner. The beans with filtered water softened in about 2 and a half hours. The one with tap water, didn't soften after about 3 and a half hours. I had to refill the pot with more water, bring it back up to a boil, and then I just gave up. I wash my clothes in the bathtub. I usually use tap water. Today, I'm going to experiment with using filtered water. See if I need less detergent or if my clothes magically come out cleaner. I suspect they will. And the strange part about it is that I live in North Dakota and my tap water isn't all that dirty. It has about 200ppm of sediment. It isn't like Arizona, where the water has a metallic taste and you wouldn't even feed it to your dog. I would like them to make some videos and improve their instruction manuals a little. It was frustrating at first. I have the countertop RO, and I filter water for a full month, at a time, in jugs, and then store it in the fridge, to prevent mold.
