Correct color not available contrary to what Briggs & Riley told me 2 times would be the case. So now it will be an olive suitcase with a black corner protector.

I’ve had multiple bags over the last several years and there’s always something missing - can’t fit all of my stuff, doesn’t have a top pocket for easy to access stuff, missing organization pockets, etc. NOT THIS ONE!! I absolutely love that it has everything I need. I travel for work nearly weekly and this bag is perfect and looks professional so I can take it to clients.

The skeptics may wonder: why pay so much for a suitcase? Fundamentally, there are many, many cheaper options out there which do the exact same job. What the skeptics miss is that it’s ok to splurge on things that make the experience better. This suitcase does that in spades. Looks are subjective but I think this thing is truly beautiful in person. I get excited every time I get it out of my closet. And then there’s the function of it. I really like having the telescoping handle completely on the outside rather than disrupting the floor of the suitcase and taking up space. It makes it much easier to stack clothes the way I want. And the compression system works very well both for when you need to fit a bunch of stuff into a small space or when you need to bring back more than you brought. Everything is built very well and I have confidence that if anything DOES break, the lifetime warranty will cover it no questions asked. For me, this suitcase makes me want to travel. It brings some joy to packing (a task I normally hate). It’s a splurge, sure. But one that’s worth it.

B&R is great. Wish I knew about the return policy regarding repair kits before I ordered them. Mistakenly ordered the wrong set of replacement wheels for a 2-wheel carry on baggage. Went to return/exchange and found out they weren’t eligible. The correct wheels weren’t in stock either. Bummed.

Easy and fast

I’ve been working as an international sales manager for over 10 years, so I’ve gone through more than my fair share of luggage and carry-ons—both for work and family travel. After the wheels on my last carry-on literally fell apart while going through customs at LAX, I knew it was time for a replacement. I was on the fence between the Briggs & Riley Global 21” and another high-quality brand. I was actually ready to purchase the other option, but it wasn’t in stock and wouldn’t arrive in time for my next trip, so I went with this one—and I’m very glad I did. The external handle design that doesn’t intrude into the packing space makes a noticeable difference, especially when packing shoes. Every pocket feels thoughtfully designed and easy to access while traveling. The wheels roll smoothly and make it effortless to move through the airport with one hand—whether I’m holding a cup of coffee or my child’s hand with the other. Based on my experience, I will definitely continue purchasing this brand in the future.
