Briggs & Riley service is great. I've had to had minor repairs done to my carry-on spinner, thanks to airline baggage handlers, and there is never an issue and repairs are always done no-questions-asked. If you are considering luggage without a lifetime guarantee, don't do it!

This is the seventh piece of luggage I’ve acquired from Briggs & Reilly, and by now I can take for granted that the quality will be impeccable. Durability is a given. It all comes down to whether the design fits your particular needs. This backpack is not for daily commuting (wrong pocket configuration) and it’s certainly not for hiking (too heavy). It’s for avoiding checking a bag at the airport by giving you a spacious “personal item” to take whatever won’t fit in your carry-on bag. It is also for easing your way through an airport by having all the right pockets and zippers to simplify getting through TSA. It performs those functions really really well. Also, it looks great — very put together and a little stylish. I love it.

As an on the go banker in the city, my days usually don’t end where they begin. The bag makes it easy to make sure i have everything i need to go from meeting to meeting. I also use it to keep my gym clothes in there. The material looks and feels luxurious and protective. Only thing i would prefer is less zipper pulls or a different material that doesn’t rattle as much. Out side of that it’s everything i wanted. I might look for silicone covers for the zipper pulls to prevent noise.

Yes, it’s expensive. But the value of the lifetime warranty and knowing that I will never again have to purchase a piece of luggage is incalculable. Using this carry-on piece for the first time, along with the perfectly sized packing cubes, was effortless. The maneuverability was impressive, as was bouncing down concrete steps without concern. If you plan to travel regularly, Briggs & Riley is the only brand to consider.
