It seems like a really well made mattress and shipping was very fast, but the firmness cannot be underestimated. I've given it about 9 months and still am having back pain. As a side sleeper I just don't know if this is the mattress for me.

We were recommended to Big Fig by my nurse practitioner who swears by the comfort and let me tell you, she wasn’t lying. You don’t sink into the mattress, the pillow top makes it comfy. It’s cooling. I’m just very very thankful we made this purchase. Can’t recommend it enough.

I weigh over 100 kg, and before switching to the Big Fig mattress, I went through the same problem a lot of bigger people do—regular mattresses just didn’t hold up. Just to let you know you can purchase an extra remote for the bed so a couple can have one on each nightstand.

The tufting is my only complaint. We had to buy a topper because some of the tufts are thick. Side sleepers may really notice that, where not so much for back or stomach sleepers.

We had dual zone mattress in the past so going to a medium firm from soft took some getting used to but now it’s fine. Very supportive in our sleep positions. I mainly sleep on my back which is very good but not as comfortable when I side sleep. My hubby loves it. He appreciates the firmness but the softer top for side sleeping. We are both plus size and it feels supportive right up to the edge.
