My system is 8 years old and I change the filters yearly and it provides excellent drinking water and ice cubes.

Still a work in progress. We've had issues from the very beginning with the unit not registering water flow and gallons used. As a result, the unit does not regenerate automatically. We're still working with customer support to find a solution to our problem.

Having quickly available water from our tap and the multi-filtration system is amazing. I grew up with a very sensitive palate when it came to drinking faucet water. I'm very picky as an adult. We couldn't be happier with our purchase of the overall system and our regular refills. It's worth every penny. We have taken our system from our old home to our new home, and it was so easy to detach, re-assemble and reinstall.

Valve works fine, but expensive at about $10, with shipping also $10. Experience with APEC tech support and wording part was very good.

Love this unit for taste. No chalky aftertaste. I highly recommend this for peace of mind and for health and hydration.
