I have purchased a bunch of these ro under the counter water purifying systems. Customer service was always quite helpful. They would guide me to what I needed to put in my cart. They no longer seem to care enough to answer the phone for customers who would like to purchase. That's a bad Sign to me. I am not going to do business with this company any longer. There's another company that sells an RO system for a similar price with higher ratings. And they will answer the phone I would suggest consider that

We can’t live without our water filter and minerals. We had to get it for our parents house too. It made such a difference especially in California. It made our Colorado water taste even better. There was a crack after almost a year and customer service was very helpful in getting it resolved. Love companies that stand by their products!

Came with a defective filter have had to hire two different handyman to figure out which one haven’t had a filter for over a year and now I need to figure out how to get the one replaced and hire someone else to put it back together

I just checked my credit card and found a charge for $45. 89 on January 7th 2026 . I did not charge this . I have spent a hour on your web site talking to robot after robot and never a person. I finally got to customer service and was told my wait time was an hour. Do you actually call this customer service??? Your website is a lesson in frustration. Your happy to take my money if I am buying something but if there is a problem I get tossed to the wind.

am extremely disappointed with APEC Water Systems. Less than a month after installation, the water coming from their filtration system is visibly cloudy with a film and floating particles. This is not something I am willing to drink or cook with—especially from a system that is supposed to improve water quality. Instead of issuing a straightforward refund, APEC has dragged me through exhausting back-and-forths. They required me to take photos, perform multiple tests using their own testing kit, and still refused to accept what is plainly visible with the naked eye. I don’t care if their test kit claims the water quality is “good”—I can see the cloudiness and particles, and I am not consuming that. They then suggested I ship the system back to them so they can test it in their lab, rather than simply honoring a refund within the first month of purchase. That is unreasonable. This problem never happened with our previous system, and my parents and I are simply asking for a refund because the product does not meet basic expectations. For a company selling water filtration systems, dismissing visible contamination and making customers jump through hoops is unacceptable. I am exhausted by the process and deeply regret choosing APEC.

APEC shipped filters in a timely manner. I’ve used APEC filters for several years and they all work fine.

This is a great value for the money. I've had this filter system for over 4: years now and replaced the filter as scheduled. It has performed perfectly and saved thousands of plastic bottles and given much more per water for less money than anything else.

Unit arrived in poor shape. All of the pieces were loose in the box, no padding or packing material. Then, the pump was not secured to the frame, many of the small pieces of tubing were not connected, and too short to connect. So ended up basically dismantling the entire unit and re-assembling. Luckily I had a supply of tubing from previous RO units or would not have been able to install. Very disappointed initially. I was very close to returning the unit. After the rebuild of the unit, the installation went smooth and the unit is performing as expected. Water tastes great and pressure is very nice. Had the unit arrived properly assembled I would give it five stars.
