Bought this for my 12 year old for his school orchestra and he loves it. He says its sounding great and has no issues.

I had a vintage version of this shoulder pad that I was worried would break as it was getting kind of fragile. These new ones have a slightly lower profile which feels even better to me so I am very pleased with these. If you are looking for a 'no shoulder pad' option to using towels or socks to support the violin, this is a great choice. Service from Southwest Strings was terrific.
