We cannot say enough about Valentina and how amazing she was through every step of the process. She explained everything, more than once when needed, and went over everything in great detail. She was SO easy to work with and easily accessible. We will definitely be booking with her again. The tour company that she worked with in Indonesia was also amazing (IGede P and Made were AMAZING in Bali). The itinerary was PERFECT and she made sure to include every aspect that we wanted. We have booked through other tour companies, but Valentina represented Global Basecamps very well! They also provided a very easy to use app as well. Hands down, the best tour company AND vacation we have used/been on!

I had been saving for this trip for 5 years. I submitted my initial inquiry in March 2023 to plan my October 2024 trip to Japan. Laura H worked with me the whole time in regards to planning, modifying, and last minute fixes to give me and my wife a wonderful experience with plenty of memories. Had amazing baseball tickets, each hotel stay was better than the previous, and all travel accommodations outside of flights were all preplanned. I will definitely be using GBC for any future international trips.

What an adventure!! Truly a trip of my lifetime. I am so thankful to Valentina for her expertise with our trip. Everything went so smoothly! Not one issue! The smaller ruins trips were fantastic! The Inca Trail was the hardest hike I’ve ever done but worth every stair! Spectacular!! A true test to mind over matter and personal fitness! Accommodations were perfect, clean and oh so comfy! The little towns where we stayed were safe and fun to explore. Our main guide surpassed our expectations! Nati was so knowledgeable and fun!! And one heck of a photographer for our group! The porters were beyond spectacular! They worked SO hard and are such wonderful, humble people!! Also lots of fun! Food on and off the trail was scrumptious!! Our guides had perfect recommendations for dinner at the local restaurants. Wow! Food surpassed our expectations! Lastly, we met other groups on the trail who were with larger outfitters and wished they had a smaller group like ours! This trip was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! We had the trip of our lifetime to Uganda and Tanzania last September and look forward to our trip to Indonesia this September. Our friends are also having the trip of their dreams all because of Valentina's hard work and expertise and connections. She knows travel. She is devoted to making your trip unique to you but also knowing the best places to go without the crowds. She has local connections all over the world! She works HARD for you. I have organized many trips on my own and it's time consuming and there is much left to uncertainty. There was nothing left to uncertainty. We felt pampered and spoiled like royalty! Valentina and her in-country partners created a magical adventure for us in Argentina. We relied on their expertise to fine-tune our itinerary and organize activities on the ground. We were blown away by the quality of the places we stayed, the food we ate, and most of all by the authenticity of the guides who met us and turned our trip into an unforgettable experience. Val maintained a perfect level of communication with us throughout the planning, during our journey, and following up after we returned. This was our 3rd major international trip with GBC and our expectations continue to be exceeded!

I will keep this short, but my brother and I wanted to take a last-minute trip somewhere exotic and chose Egypt. I had him check with the travel agent at his hospital, and I checked with Global Basecamps who is a travel partner for a large software company at work at. My brother received a quote back from his travel agent and I received one from Global Basecamps. When you compared the two it was quite obvious that the Global Basecamps itinerary far exceeded that of the other travel agent. We tweaked it a bit and went on our nine day trip to Egypt and had the trip of a lifetime. Everything was VIP from the private driver to the private professor of Egyptology (Dr. Zezu) to our private tour guides. The trip was a 10 out of 10. I will 1000% be using Global Basecamps again soon for my next trip to New Zealand, South Africa, Namibia, and Thailand! Great job Valentina!

All the pictures, books and documentaries cannot display the magnificence, enormity and the history this civilization tried to leave behind for us. This trip was the last on my bucket list and Valentina came through. Previously she had planned a trip to Tanzania for me so i returned for her guidance because I knew if Valentina planned it my vision of the trip would be realized, and everything would be delivered as written. Our guide Mohamed was like traveling with a professor of ancient Egypt and he was also friendly, protective and accommodated the 5 of us and our questions, knowledge and beliefs about his country and his religion. The trip aboard the Viking riverboat along the Nile was restful after days in the sun. I look forward to more travel with Valentina and Global Base Camps.

My husband and I recently completed a 16-day Morocco tour arranged by Global Basecamps. Valentina was extremely helpful in planning our itinerary and responding to our requests regarding accommodations and activities. Everything went smoothly and as planned! We just went on our second trip planned by GBC. The first trip was to Japan, the second an African safari in Tanzania. What I like about GBC is their understanding of our desire to do off the beaten path things and amazing activities for outdoor and cultural enthusiasts. We went back and forth in planning each itinerary easily until we got it perfect. I’m always impressed by the hotels and lodges they send us to as well. I don’t need to go to 5 star hotels every time, but there’s always something nice and charming over where they have us staying. They’re always clean, safe, and in great locations. As soon as we get off the plane at our destination, a guide meets us and we have peace of mind knowing GBC organizes seamless, worry-free logistics from start to finish every single day. For virtually all of our vacation travel, my wife and I have done the planning entirely on our own, piecing together trips pretty much all over the world. Since neither of us much experience with SE Asia, we consulted Laura and Global Basecamps for help in planning the trip. She asked a lot of questions about what our style of travel was, and then came up with a nearly perfect itinerary for the trip. I say "nearly" because we were able to fine-tune the trip with her guidance and came up with a trip that was ideal for our needs. We went with all of her suggestions and are so happy that we did. The number of tours kept us busy, but not too busy, and the companies that GlobalBasecamps uses in-country have the same dedication to culturally sensitive travel as they do. There's no question that we will use them for future travel plans.

An incredible trip! Well organized, professionally staffed, and it hit all the places we wanted to see. Can’t rave enough about our tour guides and driver. Expensive, but worth every penny to have a trip of a lifetime.

We just got back from our honeymoon in Bali and can I say wow! This company made it smooth and easy! However the highlight of our tour was our private driver/tour guide Arta! Arta was truly what made our experience so remarkable! He went above and beyond he didn’t just take us places he taught us about the culture and we learned and saw so many beautiful places! If you travel to Bali definitely request Arta you will not regret it!!!

We worked with Global Basecamps on two trips to Africa and they were both amazing. They are experts in travel and delivered everything they promised. Every detail was taken care of to make sure we had a perfect smooth trip. Nothing was missed and their follow up and communication is awesome. I cant think of any reason to call anyone else.

Global Basecamps planned an incredible trip for our family to the Galapagos Islands and Mainland Ecuador. The itinerary was fantastic and the experiences were authentic and special. We swam with white tipped reef sharks, kayaked, snorkeled with sea lions, and thoroughly enjoyed our time in The Galapagos. We had a great stay in the treehouses at Galapagos Magic and enjoyed a couple nights by the water at Finch Bay. Our trip on the mainland included visits to Guayaquil, Cuenca, Quito, and Zuleta. Highlights included the drive from Guayaquil to Cuenca (with a beautiful hike in Cajas National Park en route) and our time in Zuleta. Zuleta was magical - the setting was gorgeous. The Global Basecamps team was amazing pre-trip and throughout our trip - we were very appreciative for all that they did to make our trip perfect.
