Over several years I dug myself a hole that I could not climb out of on my own. I was about 70k in debt to credit cards and personal loans and although I was current on all my accounts I struggled to make even the minimum payments. The interest rates on most of the accounts were crazy high and that minimum payment was mostly interest every month. I got to the point that I had to do something, Bankruptcy and debt settlement were not a good option for me as I own property and could have liquidated and paid all my debt but didn’t want to start over with a bad credit score. I contacted Family Credit Management and they quickly put together a plan that would work but would still take a lot of strict budgeting on my end. After signing up and getting the plan in motion I did see a couple credit cards interest that were higher than the estimate on the original plan but it was minor considering what my finances were looking like. After a few years on the plan making payments as promised I was out and free from the credit card debts. I am now working on making extra payments towards my mortgage and other bills and on the fast track to being free from all debt. I do have new credit cards and use them wisely. My credit score was in the low 700’s when I began this journey and as of today I have a 800 credit score and am free from the debilitating debt that was holding me from being completely happy. I highly recommend this company to all who are struggling with unsecured debt.

One of my pet peeve is “worst customer service”, these guys however, regardless of how angry you are they’d still get back to you right away. You may not get the answer you need but they do get back to you which is better than ignoring you at all! I’ve used these guys twice and they helped me in so many ways. Definitely recommend these guys to my friends and family who are going through financial challenges.

I totally agree with the other people who wrote reviews. I wish I had known about FCM along time ago. I put in a lot of hard work and dedication to dig myself out of debt, but eventually realized that I needed some help from people with expertise in this field. I am almost debt free, thanks to FCM. Like the others who wrote reviews, FCM workers are very encouraging and helpful and don’t pass judgement or preach to you about the mistakes that you made. They give you guidance and advice on how to move on and make better decisions. And for that I am very humble and very grateful to everyone at FCM. Especially a young lady with FCM by the name of Alyson. I feel she went above and beyond to help me reach my goal to get my debt paid off. I appreciate your help very much. I can honestly say I wish I'd known about FCM sooner. Like everyone's review has stated- the team here is amazing, patient and non-judgmental; VERY REASSURING! I made my first payment on the first of the month, and by the 8th- all of the creditors had a payment. The process to add more creditors is easy as well. I am no longer getting calls from creditors. I'm anxious for my score to benefit from all of this- but I must be patience. Had I known about them I'd never have had anything to do with debt consolidation companies. FCM is way faster than any of those programs- and I feel that if I'd have had them sooner, I wouldn't have taken such a hit. But it's ok- life lessons learned- and I feel that after my 38 months is up- I will be a lot more mature financially.

I have to admit, I was a little hesitant about turning over my finances to someone else. But after a divorce and running up almost 30000 in credit card debt, I knew I had to do something. Family Credit Management was the second one I reached out to. I did not get a good feeling about the first one who I cannot now remember who it was. I am very grateful to FCM . After almost 4 years I am just two payments from being credit card debt free. They have been super helpful and always tried to help when the payments needed to be adjusted to get through a hard time. When I called FCC almost five years ago, I was walked through the process by a very understanding lady. Well, today I got a Congratulations from this group. I did it. My debt is officially paid off!! I started July 2020 with almost $20K in debt and with the help of FCM, they helped me understand that you don't NEED other forms of payment to be happy. I am happy to say, it has been about 4 years since I started with this program, and I am making my last payment and will be in absolute relief to be free from those debts. We were on the program for a couple of years. The staff were all very kind and supportive. They helped us stay on track by modifying our payment plan after we had a post-Covid Job loss. With FCM’s guidance we were able to eliminate $27k in credit card debt 6 months ahead of schedule. We felt the $40/month service/admin fee was reasonable.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is struggling with their debt. They really worked with me to find a payment plan that was acceptable for my budget and worked with me if I ever missed payments. Customer service was always very helpful and answered all my questions all the time! They really helped me get my credit card debt under control and I can say right now that I have fully paid off all my credit card debt, thanks to their help!
