I'd like to compliment all of the of employees at Brands Bicycle store in Wantagh NY for the excellent service they all provided me and my son Anthony Cristi yesterday, with the absolute superb customer service and cordiality. I left the store very pleased to do business with such great professionalism. And I thank every one of the entire team for their honesty and efforts. Order Failed
Well I ordered online and had it in processing but somewhere in their system made the bike available to someone else... It is sad and unfortunate but customer service did what they can .. and processed the refund fast. Because of this they are still trustworthy for me... I hope next time they can provide me what I ordered... A solid and legit company....

Above and Beyond
Brands is a huge shop with a tremendous variety of merchandise but that is not the best thing about it! The service is unparalleled. Yes, on a busy Sunday, you may have to wait but then you are given as much time as you need. I was told that the electric assist bicycle I wanted was on back order for 6 months...less than one week later, I got a call from Jimmy, my sales associate, that he located a bike in Connecticut and it was mine if I wanted it. Two days later it was in my garage, loaded up with all the accessories. Thank you Brands and Jimmy

Best Bike Store
I love brands bike shop they treat you like they want your business. My sales man Liam help me buying my bike was friendly and helpful even after the sale when I call the store with any questions he was very helpful and friendly. There always willing to work with not against you. Best place to buy a bike and accessories.

What A Great Place to Shop and Work
I worked at Brands in the late 50's at a time that we sold many items as well as bikes. It was a great place to work when I was in high school (Seaford) and have many wonderful memories. We worked hard at giving good customer service and it looks like it still is that way over 60 years later. It feels good to see that Brands has been able to continue over so many years providing outstanding products and customer service and that I was part of an outstanding company more like a small family.

Great Experience
I was looking for a new pair of Scott mtb shoes and did a Google search to compare options. I found Brands, and they had the shoes I wanted at a far better price than any other site. I ordered the shoes on a Thursday and they arrived Saturday. Will definitely return in the future.

Hands-down the worst company to deal with the promise everything but nothing ever happened ordered bike racks from them 2months ago And still never received it been trying to get a refund and they just keep ignoring I would stay far away from this company as they are the worst company out there

Not Honorable on Commitments
My husband purchased a Trek Bike for my Birthday, actually 3 bikes were purchased). He was offered a 15% Discount on accessories. The bike was purchased in May we received it on back order three weeks ago. In the meantime I had fell and fractured my wrist, and did not come in to get fitted for my accessories. We did go today on September 16th And we were denied the 15% discount. Although we did purchase the items I regret that my husband recommend it your store. By the way the bike price point was increased by $50 since the purchase date. Great customer service, I don’t think so!

Best Customer Service, Ever
The lock ring was missing on one of my cassette orders. I thought it would be the typical nightmare experience to try to get the lock ring, but Brands Cycle is the best. One quick phone call, and they located and priority shipped my missing lock ring the same day. They now have another loyal customer!

WOULD GIVE IT NO STARS IF i COULD! This is the worst store I have ever been to where they took what should have been a great experience and turned it into a nightmare! Long story and not a good one! Kids run this store and are clueless! They have no concept of customer service and the mgr there is even worse! Wouldn't recommend buying a bike from them.

Not only was the bike I ordered just sitting there for almost two weeks because they took my number down wrong (they had an extra number, 3 - nines instead of 2) when I get to the store to ask about the 0% interest for 6 months financing - then they tell me only on purchases over $600 (i only spent about $450). I ask to speak to somebody about these issues and this "KID" could care less if i was happy or not. All he had to say was we can refund your deposit. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I would never treat one of my customers this way. I guess they can be rude because of Covid they are still doing a tremendous business. They would have sold my bike in days if not hours. After their mistakes, all it would've taken for me to walk out of there feeling good about my purchase was to throw me something for my troubles - even a $5 bell for the bike!! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING HERE AGAIN and will advise others the same! The only bright spot - the poor bike Mechanic Rob who got stuck listening to all this - was a dream showing me everything about the bike I needed to know. Should put someone like him in charge of Customer Service instead of the KID i had to deal with who could care less about losing a customer!

From the start to the end, what a nightmare. This sounds like sour grapes, you read, you decide. I walked in asking for "the lightest, simplest and cheapest bike they have". The salesman didn't know his products. After him showing me a few that didn't fit any of my criteria, I went on my own and found what I was searching for, no thanks to the salesman. I put a down payment and left the store. I get a call the bike is ready. I put in google for directions and on the way to pick it up, I get a pop up on my phone from Brands that says "15% off all purchases for signing up on email" I looked at the disclosure and it did not exclude the purchase of a Giants bike. As for that fact, the coupon was not the same one that was on their website. I tried to find a way to save it but couldn't figure it out. Once at the cashier, I asked about the coupon, I was advised this coupon doesn't cover the purchase of a new bike. I agree that the coupon they have on their website is different from what I had gotten and asked to see a mngr. The manager named Byron was very nasty and once proved the coupon was different said "he didn't care, he wouldn't honor it, and his bikes were selling so fast he didn't need to sell me a bike!" I said "you have to honor it and he said " I don't have to do anything and walked away!" I was very flustered and couldn't believe the way I was being treated. What happened to the customer being right? Or how about being kind and not disrespectful and condescending? The girl behind the register asked "if I wanted her to put it on the card?" I said yes. At the same time I asked for the bike to be put in the car. I was handed a receipt and walked out of the store feeling horrible and quite shaken up. Yes, you are right, I should have checked receipt. I was too upset. Once in the car I left to head home. About a half hour later, I get a phone call from the store saying "I stole the bike". I immediately look at the receipt and see the cashier didn't charge me for th...

This store is horrible. Salesmen don't know their product, management is rude and doesn't know how to deal with the public. I had the worst experience dealing with Byron who is supposedly the store manager. I can't imagine why Dan Sirota would have someone as ill equipped as him to run his store. The worst experience and the reply from the manager was "we don't need your business"! What happened to the customer being right? What happened to treating with respect? Also the manager advised me "he can do as he pleases and doesn't need to honor coupon or anything he chooses not too" Can't imagine having someone like that in charge. I would like all to know that if you are looking to purchase the correct Roof Bike Rack for your vehicle, Scott is the Roof Bike Rack MAN. I am sure he more proficient in other areas pertaining to bikes than selling roof bike racks But in my case I was purchasing a bike roof rack. He was polite,patient, asked the right questions and a professional. He researched my vehicle, roof size and various manufactures methodically for the correct one and he found it. He installed in the rain within minutes , explained and showed me the the features and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I was so pleased and satisfied that I have written a GREAT and Well Deserved 5 STAR rating for Scott. I really wish I knew I had his last name. Just ask for Scott the Roof Rack King.

Ordered a stationary bike 3 months ago--said it would take awhile--we called every month and worried that when the bike came in they might sell it to someone else. They said they would not do that. Now they say they made a mistake and sold it to someone else. My opinion is that you should not do any business with this business.
