Friendly, knowledgeable, over the top customer service
Brought my current "no frills" bike in for repair, Ron & Ray both very helpful. While there I started looking a new bikes. Rob was top shelf explaining the differences in the bikes, kept pulling bikes off the top rack for me to try. I explained how & where I ride, Rob showed & explained everything i needed for an informed decision. He stuck to my budget, no hard sell or push for add ons. I ended going up to a higher level bike. Total great buying experience. i pick it up tomorrow 9/10. A model for other bike stores to follow

Wonderful Customer Service That Made My Day!!!!
I had bought a Schwinn Exercise bike from Brands many years ago and wanted to use it again to help my knee recover. However, the old seat just wasn't comfortable anymore. I brought the seat to Brands and I was received by so many professional and helpful staff. I was told that I needed to see someone in Sales & Fitness. A very nice young man named Daniel came over and took me to where the bicycle seats are displayed. He knew exactly the right one that would fit the piece the old one was on. He was right. I can't thank Daniel enough for his professionalism, knowledge and great smile!!! Many thanks to everyone at Brands!!!!

Outstanding Customer Service
I made my first purchase with them on-line on Black Friday 2024. It was a great deal, but far more impressive was the customer service. I was going to be out of town for 2 weeks and needed to delay the shipping until I returned. In working this out, I called them twice. Both times the call was answered within one or two rings by an actual person…almost unheard of these days. And everyone I spoke with was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely shop with them again and would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

Been dealing with Brands since 1980 when I moved into the area. I’ve had great experiences ever since. Selection, knowledgeable folks, Professional and honest. Bought all kinds of bikes for everyone in v the family and beyond. When my children grew up they bought their bikes there as well, even though they lived in Manhattan. Today, Ken and Phil, (bike technicians from Brands) came to my home with a part for my recumbent bike, straight from the factory. Jimmy, who’s in charge of fitness equipment made that happen. These employees are so good. They know bikes inside and out. In today’s world I commend Brands and their employees along with good old customer service.

Great Customer Service
I came in yesterday 8/28 looking for a replacement kit for my broken BOA cable. The young lady, Kerry, told me it was proprietary and I had to contact BOA for a N/C warranty replacement. I was unaware they have a lifetime warranty. I said thanks but what a bummer, since i was in my kit she knew i was hoping to ride. She took matters into her own hands and said I can probably provide a solution that would carry you over until I received the proper kit from BOA for my Shimano shoes. She took my shoe laced it with a temporary cable that was not blue, but who cares, I was able to ride. Kerry went the extra mile and proved that Brands is truly a wonderful retailer and friend to their clients. Thanks again PS went online to BOA and the replacement parts are already in the mail

They have the greatest selection of bikes. Good to have a big selection to choose from to get exactly the bike to fit your specific needs. Expert knowledge and service. The Go-To place for anything you want on 2 wheels. Been a customer for over 20 years. I wish car-dealers were as good as this.

I bought a bike which I returned due to mechanical defect. Person who picked up bike told me of recurring problem of freewheel mechanism in Trek bikes. Manager called me when bike got back to store, approving receipt of bike in good condition and approved refund. Promised refund to my credit card, and even though it takes several days to post to account, Mastercard has no record on their system showing refund was issued. Manager tried to get me to come back to store and buy different bike. Now I had to dispute charge, and merchant is allowed 30 days to respond to dispute. That means I may have to wait 30 days to get it resolved. Credit card refunds are electronic transaction just like payments. Refund should have been put through as promised same day. This is no longer just a problem of not getting a refund - it's when somebody says they did put through the refund and didn't do it. That's more aggravating to the customer than having to wait for their money back. When the merchant receives the product back in acceptable condition, the customer should get their money back immediately.

70 year old disappointed customer
I ordered the costly lift to help me load my new e-bike. When it arrived at my son business his manager along with another employee spent over an hour looking for the key, and realized it was not there. We decided to return it. The UPS store helped us package it very well. Max deducted 390.00 saying restocking fee! After I replied to him, he responded saying packing not sufficient, and that they are a small business . ??? We were very disappointed, and needless to say not happy with the outcome. All I know is the rack was sent back in good condition, it was not put on the hitch because we did not have a key for it. I do not recommend Brands cycle and fitness.

I ordered a hitch mounted bike rack online and inadvertently ordered the wrong size mount. They could not have been any more helpful in arranging for the exchange. Terrific service and I look forward to continuing to buy from them in the future.

Ryan educated us about the new version of trek bicycles and the new technology. He was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Brands is Iucky to have him as a seasonal employee. Because of him we will be back last week of August to purchase our 2 new Fx bikes and accessories. Thanks Ryan.

I am a first time out of state customer. I googled a bike rack I wanted to purchase, and they came up with the best price. Where I am located it can take a long time to receive a shipment. When placing my order I wrote a note and let them know my shipping preference. I also asked that they let me know how it was shipped. I was so impressed to get a phone call from their shipping dept. at the end of the day, letting me know how they shipped my order and when to expect it.
