This is the second one I have bought and I think my first one lasted over 5 years. Hopefully this one with new technology one will last as well. I love the one inch because I have very small curls on the sideburn areas of my head and I need a small iron to carefully straighten those out. It is amazing how fast the iron heats up - in seconds! I like that you can change the heat settings very easily. It is very smooth when using with no hair snags. All in all, this iron is a great tool and I am glad I got it when a great discount was available. Definitely worth it!!!
