Good Customer Service

Amazing grinder - great power, very quiet operation, easy to use, and has everything I needed to grind my beans. Very easy to disassemble and clean without breaking calibration. It would be nice if the chute had a knocking mechanism similar to the VS6, and if there were included rings for other portafilter sizes for the catch cup, but this is being very nitpicky. Overall, I feel like my money was well spent on a grinder that feels like it is built to last a lifetime!

Thought I had already done this review in its entirety. . . Here is a shortened version. Wish the link provided with the non-original packaging had been for the model I had actually received. . . this was a problem with completing the setup optimally. Good points: lower unit height fits well under my ceiling mounted cabinets, enjoy that there are no interior "lids" on both the water and bean areas. The "touch" to activate the buttons is very light, compared to my old Gaggia Academia which this refurb replaced. The "baffles" on the dreg/water drawer are a good idea in theory, but it is still pretty hard to get a full drawer of water to the sink without spilling. The coffee puck drawer holds a lot of them, so it is a long time in use before necessary to empty (or before the red light comes on. ) Getting used to that red "error" light, when the dreg/coffee puck drawer needs to be removed, but an improvement over the Academia for being easily recognized for service required. Will need to consult WLL staff for whether it is necessary to use the tablets for brew group cleaner, or if Cafiza soaking of that brew group is an acceptable method. The non-original packaging did include a detailed list of what was included in the box, which was helpful. Again, wish the QR code provided had been for the actual machine in the box, not some generic startup manual. I went to the WLL support tech online to find the actual owners manual, which was not included with the machine as packaged for shipment. In general, this seems to be an okay machine for the kind and frequency of coffee beverages used at our home. Enjoy a simpler device after 15 years of the "first class" Academia, where we still only made about 3 beverages on a regular basis. This Anima makes 4 which should be more than adequate for my needs. Thanks for asking. . . hope my first review can be located. . . as it was probably more complete.
