I ordered a 4 ft Peruvian Apple Cactus on 1/22/2026 and have never heard anything besides a confirmation. I have emailed two different email addresses multiple times and have sent messages on the website with no response to any! I have no idea if there is an issue or what is happening but this is horrible practice for a business that wants to grow/stay open. You can’t just not respond especially after two weeks of nothing. I’m trying to not dispute the charges.

Beautiful cactus - I’m really happy with how beautiful it is. This is my second order and I’m sure I’ll order from Varnish and Vine again in the near future.

Scammers

During their biggest sales, they will send you terrible cacti that are infected with root rot. I had to throw them away. Literally wasted $100. The worst part is they don't reply to customer support emails. They just ignore you. There's ZERO way to get your money back or a replacement.

I was so thrilled to receive a 4 feet Peruvian, apple cactus it came well packed no scratches completely upright. What really surprise me is that I had it delivered to New York City and it came in days right to my door. I would definitely recommend. Varnishand Vine to anyone looking to buy high quality cactuses.

Horrible customer service nobody responds. Cactus showed up dead and black at the ends so have to throw away now. Also, I ordered 5 clippings and only 4 in the box. I feel cheated and I’m so disappointed that a company would do this. Spent $200 on 5 clippings and they are all either dead or subpar. Looks nothing like the pictures online. Do not buy

No way to communicate issues.

Terrible. I have dozens of cactus specimens from other places and the cutting they sent me is by far in the worst condition of all of them. It had spots turning brown and aerial roots halfway up the column. The worst part was that they didn't reply to my message or my reply in their chat. I will never use them for anything ever again.

Great cutting at a great price! I was pleasantly surprised! I have been buying plants online for many years and it can sometimes be a gamble. I was able to get a large cutting at a fraction of the cost other farms are charging. I will be shopping with them again.
