I've been buying Smith for almost 2 decades, and have always had great customer service & shipping. The products do last a lifetime, and they honor that warranty if you ever need it.

My teen BMX racer and MTB enthusiast recently crashed his 2nd Smith Mainline helmet. He LOVED those helmets but we decided to go for the Hardline this time. I bought some sliders at Sea Otter, having had a great chat with the sales team. And I think they are a great shape and loved how they look. But when I got home, the nose piece and one of the rubber bits on the temple fell off, within a few weeks. The nose piece is not sold as a spare, making these basically landfill. At which point all the customer service team was to offer a 50% discount. When I have basically just bought a brand new pair of glasses. The whole experiance has been very poor once you had taken my money!
