Got the brew stop repair kit and it arrived fast and snapped right into place. If your brew basket is older and seems to be going slower, order up a kit and make it good as new again!

It was fine

This lid is superb at creating a vacuum seal in the carafe; I've (accidentally) left a batch of coffee in the carafe with this lid secured overnight and still had hot coffee 24 hours later! This might just be me, but my natural instinct is to tighten a lid as completely as physically possible. This proved to be a mistake, as the lid can get too stuck and irremovable from the carafe. In my experience, this was made difficult when the top half of the lid snapped off in my attempt to remove it, which may indicate a slight flaw for grip. Nevertheless, when I explained the situation to the customer service team, they were very helpful. I ended up puncturing the lid through the rubber seal to break the grip, and the team generously helped me with a replacement. I now avoid this predicament by making sure to not screw the lid on any tighter than it needs to be. It still manages to keep the coffee in the carafe hot for very long periods of time. I would strongly recommend this product.

I am thoroughly impressed by this company's products, as well as the high level of customer service to support them.
