Grinds well when clean. Be prepared to clean well after use. My machine clogged solid after 6 days requiring disassembly, cleaning and reassembly. For cleaning I employed toothpicks, pipe cleaners and a household vacuum.

Customer service was great, coffee maker was leaky

Loved the 5 year warranty but the Moccamaster community’s love of the brewer was the reason I bought my KBGV Select. I like 2 cups during the week and a bit more on the weekends. I enjoy making my coffee daily and though I’m still learning, it’s been fun to brew with it daily. I haven’t used the customer service but I’m confident that Moccamaster will be there to answer any questions. I also appreciate the Moccamaster community to get answers and ideas from brewing to which coffee roasts or coffee roasters to recommend. It helps to have a stylish Off-White coffee brewer on my counter though I’m thinking I should have bought the pistachio, it would’ve “popped “ in my white kitchen. No regrets.
