Shipping was fast, the machine was packed well, I couldn’t ask for anything more. I feel like the refurbished unit was a perfect introduction to Moccamaster and hope to be a customer for many years. The reviews from Consumer Reports to the Spruce and others seem to be spot on. It’s nice to “do your homework”, then have your decision verified when the product arrives.

I recently bought a house in another state that I will be moving to over time. I decided to buy another Moccamaster. It makes great coffee just like my original machine that is still going. The one criticism - the plastic parts are cheap and flimsy. It can’t cost that much to put a solid, sturdy plastic handle on the coffee pot. Every plastic parts feels cheap.

These filters are noticeably thinner than before.
