I’ve been using this bag for about two weeks now, and I absolutely love it. It takes only a few seconds to convert from a messenger bag to a backpack and is incredibly comfortable in both variations. It does have slightly less room in the main compartment than a normal backpack of the same size, but this is due to the padded laptop compartment and the extra compartments for the backpack straps and luggage pass-through. That said, I’ve used it as a weekend bag and it easily fits several changes of clothes and my toiletries bag. My only complaint is that the zippers are not as high quality as I would’ve expected from Timbuk2. The clasps for the shoulder strap and backpack straps feel high-quality, like they’ll stand up well to many switches over the years. Overall, amazing bag and does exactly what it aims to do - effortlessly transition from commuter work bag to weekend backpack.

Arrived quickly, and with minimal packaging. This satchel is lightweight, compact, yet still has enough compartments to keep all my stuff segregated for ease of retrieval.
