No resolution only arguments

We purchased 2 SK3000 thermos jars, and received a recall notice for the stoppers not having pressure relief. We asked for the jars to be replaced in addition to the faulty stoppers, as the stoppers would pop open due to the built-up pressure and knock the jars out of hands and fall to the ground. We bought these for our kids to bring lunch to school, and they cannot be used anymore due to the many dents on the jars themselves. Our kids have complained many times that the stoppers popped open, knocking the jars out of hand and fall to the ground, with food spilling out of the jars. Our request for the jars to be replaced was denied without any explanation.

Bought the thermos because it was advertised not to leak. Liked the design-the way it opened and closed. But it leaked when carried in my travel bag and ruined my paperwork. talked to “Angel” and she was to replace the bottle. That was 3 weeks ago and haven’t anything yet. Ned Sampson. 304-639-0747.

I received a recall on one of Thermos i purchased in the past. I completed the recall request and never got my thermo replaced.

Instructions from Thermos were not clear. At the beginning of the recall, Thermos advised to do one thing. I submitted the requirements the first day. Months later I receive an email stating different requirements. I still have not received my replacement thermos. Based on this experience, I will not purchase any further Items from Thermos until I receive the FULL REPLACEMENT THERMOS.

Amazon nicely informed me that a product I bought from them, YOUR PRODUCT, had a recall. I sent in all the paperwork to you showing that I bought said product and now YOU say it’s not really the correct one. I can only wonder why Amazon would make a mistake like that??

The thermos was recalled. The letter instructed to trash the thermos and send a picture. A few weeks after disposing of the thermos I was informed only part if the thermos would be replaced, not the entire item. Next time instructions need to be clear.

product needs improvement, because thermos is a household name brand but it seems to have lost itself along the way with quality control because products are not as expected . it failed too easily within months of purchase & sent me a new one . could not open the lid because the thread is not inlined properly that means only one thing &that is no inspections being done before it was shipped out.

The issue was not resolved; the service was terrible.

I have yet to see any resolution and it’s been a while!

Great item! My family has many of these, latest was for child to take to school (got engraved). They are sturdy and keep things cool for a long time.
