Was part of a recall and I never received the replacement lid
Still have not received recalled lid to my thermos. It has been a couple months.
In the first week of May I received an email that my Thermos brand thermos had a recall. I replied with the required photos almost immediately. On May 14 they sent me a reminder about the recall. I had already taken care of it and replied earlier. On June 2nd I received a notification that my product was eligible for the part recall and that they would be sending me the part. My timeline is 7 to 9 weeks. Well, I don't understand because it didn't take them 7 to 10 weeks to process my payment when I bought the product. As soon as they approved my product met the requirements to meet the product recall my replacement part should have been sent out. We are now approaching the 9 week point since the recall was sent out and I responded. We are past the 6 week mark since they approved my product recall. They are taking their time. I will take my time if I ever buy another product from them again.
Amazon notified me of the recall. I responded quickly. I contacted Thermos Brand and was told I needed to provide a photo of my pressure lid thing in the trash. I presumed that meant I was to throw it away. I did provide the photo. Weeks later I am told my claim was denied. Then WHY did YOU tell me to send you a photo of the thing in the trash. Terrible. I "appealed" and am still waiting for the thing. Very disorganized, bad process. Give me a break. Definitely changes my perception of this brand.
I bought a black thermos for our kids lunch at Walmart and we've had it less than 6 months and the black part on the outside is all peeling off. We bought a different brand kids thermos on Amazon for less $, we've had it for 1. 5 years and it's still intact. Super disappointed in this brand and we won't be purchasing again.

Love the thermos products, but this recall for a stopper is taking a little too long. I could’ve bought another unit by now. Please send stopper as soon as possible.

Ordering was easy. Shipping was fast. Selection may have been too much. I made a mistake in my order and Melissa was so very helpful to assist and correct. Melissa's customer service was excellent. I would recommend the products and company.
Have still not received the product
Replaced my broken lid. No smell as others said. It’s like new.
Just make the replacement part routine smoother for the customer whenever there is a recall. Double or triple verifying is non-productive and does not make customer happy when his/her merchandise cannot be in use for weeks or even months on out.

Never received. Poor customer service.
The part that I ordered arrived today (13/7). It was exactly as the one that needed replacing, right down to the colour (which you confusingly described as teal though, to me, it's grey as I actually wished). So it worked out in that regard. The process took much longer that it would have, however, if one could still order by phone.
After four weeks of following up, nothing has been resolved. This level of customer service is extremely disappointing. I will be returning the item, and I will be sharing my experience and review of your poor customer service.
I am still waiting for a replacement part for my recalled thermos. Is this normal?
