I got a cheap thermometer for barbecuing and i never trusted it, it took ages to give me a reading to start with !!! Them someone recommended a thermapen and it’s brilliant and gives a accurate reading in seconds. Would highly recommend to anyone 👌

As a keen foody I've been using a small thermistor probe onto a Multimeter, it works, but you have to punch a hole and can only get about an inch or so inside. Been looking at these Thermapens a while but being retired cost matters. Would have chosen the pro' model, but eventually decided on classic, well it was on offer. Very impressed with packaging, way it was presented, and a Calibration certificate! Just cooked a chicken and was able to get it to perfection. Frankly, I should have bought one years ago.

Easily one of the best additions to our Kitchen, practically used everyday, very impressive build quality and fast, accurate readings, highly recommended if you have been considering one. Very well packaged for transit also.

Really happy with my smoke thermometer, easy to set up and use, well built too. Thermapen have been good to deal with although a little confusion with communication and the post office messing me about, all in all though a good experience. I have also owned a classic for some years, never let me down, it is accurate and easy to use.

Absolutely delighted with my new Thermapen. Takes all the worry out of cooking meat and many other things too. Excellent product and I highly recommend it.

The Billows is a great piece of barbecue equipement, extremely well built (just as the other thermoworks BBQ gear) and works wonderfully with the Signals. I also own a smoke / gateway combi that I used for remote monitoring the temperature. The problem was that I had no means of correcting the airflow remotely. One can imagion how pleased I was that the Signals/ /Billows combo came out. If it hadn't I might have been 'forced' to buy from another brand, which I did not want to do. The Signals / Billows combo works beautifully keeping the BBQ within tight temp margins. Is it perfect? No it isn't. There are a few points where either Signals / Billows could improve: 1. A 'proper'means, i.e. 'pause' button, to interupt the airflow when you lift the lid. So temperature can come back up by itself. Now I pull the connector, but that is not an elegant solution. 2. Variable rpm. Right now, it seems the Billows is on or off. The fan seems to spin alway at the same speed. A variable speed (after opening the lid) would help not blowing ashes around and might be more economical on your charcoal. 3. Please include the mounting plates in the set. Now I had to pay €20,- extra for two tiny sheets of metal, probable costing no more than one or two Euro's. And on top of that, the plates did not fit my Primo grill properly. But depites the negative points above, so far I'm happy with the Billows. It's the first time I can stay away from my barbecue, walk the dog and not worry and that is woth a lot.

Bought as a present for my daughter and her husband. They love it and are now able to cook meat knowing that it is cooked properly by using the thermometer pen.

This is as useful as I had expected it to be for all manner of applications. I bought it for checking the temperature of custard used in ice-cream, which can separate much above 85 degrees C. This kind of precision is invaluable in taking the guess work out of the equation, and it is very precise- you know exactly where you are-and when to hurriedly plunge your custard into cold water to prevent any further heating. I am so pleased to finally have this item at my disposal and should have invested in one years ago. I have no doubt that this is going to prove yo be money very well spent. Thank you.
