A fantastic piece of equipment. No idea how one can cook properly without it. The beauty of it is that it is instant. Tonight it’s fish - needs to wait until it’s 60°C precisely.

This is a great thermometer. If you need to change readings from ºC to ºF use switch 1 underneath the battery cover. The instructions state switch 1 not used, but it actually has a function. Overall great device, I hope this helps any potential buyers with their decision.

Brilliant piece of equipment, vastly better than any of the low cost and/or short lived ones I've put up with before now. British designed and built and seems to be used by every food blogger and celebrity chef I can think of which is recommendation enough in itself.

Old one broke after 7 year heavy use but love my thermapen. Pro model has minor additional functions which are not really necessary

Just got this Thermapen Professional thermoemeter and used it twice. Very easy to use and fast to read temperature. Only used it for steak but looking forward to using it for other tasks as well.

I bought a Thermapen Classic and a Dot w d I’m delighted with both of them. They are so easy to use and I have finally cracked the perfect reverse-sear steak now that I got rid of my old inaccurate thermometer and got these instead. Would highly recommend!

I wasn’t sure whether to purchase this due to the price but it was discounted so I thought why not. It’s so quick and easy to use and made checking all of my sourdough bread making step so easy. I love the colour too.

High end of price range but it is visibly a well made item with a quick response time , nice touch with back light should it be needed , bit bigger than you think it will be but fits well into your hand , more than happy to recommend it

Making sure the meat was cooked on a bbq has always been an issue for me. Either too well done or not done enough. Using the guide with the pen we have had success on success. Great tool

I bought my first Thermapen after attending the Nick Nairn Cook School. I used it daily and loved it from day 1, although I did have to learn by trial and error what temperatures I needed to achieve for various foods. After 15 years I dropped it yet again but this time it didn't make it, but i couldn't imagine cooking without it. Overdone fish, underdone steaks, food not defrosted in the middle, no I had to buy one. Not cheap and I did have to think twice....but remembered it was not cheap the first time I bought it and the value I had had from it for my 15 years! I also benefitted from a special offer, so my order was straight in. I was delighted when it arrived and I would say it is actually better than my original one! So pleased.
