Easy to operate out of the box, perfect thermometer. Only downside the receiver can't stand. solved this by putting velcro on the back and bought a cheap plastic foldable mobile telephone stand

Does what it says it'll do: measures temperatures very accurately. No on/off switch needed, just turn out the probe and it starts measuring immediately. I've been using for measuring ambient and dough temperature for baking. It's great.

So pleased with the thermapen classic. For years I've used a budget device which was OK but really slow and hopeless for BBQs which is why I finally convimnced myself to buy a thermapen. But now I use it for all roasts and bread baking and it's brilliant. Like all well-designed devices, it only does one thing but does it superbly.

I bought this as a present for my dad. I have been using mine for 5 years plus and wondered how I ever managed without it. My dad said he had cooked chicken to perfection moist, juicy and very tasty. No more overcooked meat. Buy one you will not regret it.

Arrived quickly. Simple to use and a big improvement on the inaccurate temperature controller in my (admittedly very old) oven. Very pleased with it.

Ideal tool in the kitchen. washable, accurate and responds quickly. Awkward to use in brewing coffee, but very good for baking

I purchased after seeing the Thermapen Pro used by a number of professionals and on various You Tube videos. Firstly it’s probably the item that has made the biggest difference to my cooking both on the BBQ and in the kitchen, no more over cooked food or cutting food up to check if done inside !! also it’s great to have the confidence that food is safe to eat as it’s reached the right temperature.. I should have bought one of these a long time ago!!! Within seconds you have an accurate temperature reading and know your food is cooked. I would say this is and essential piece of kit for the BBQ and kitchen !! Secondly I was very impressed with the service, I ordered late one morning and it arrived first thing the next day !!
