My husband spotted this gadget in an article in the telegraph and said we have to have one of these!! Takes out all the guess work and no more calling me to come and cut into meat to make sure it’s cooked. Works really accurately. Husband loves it.

I bought my first Thermapen Professional in 2018 and have used it almost daily since. I can now cook steaks to the perfect doneness, chicken is cooked through and safe without being over done and barbecues have had a new lease of life with no more burnt food and surprisingly finding that sausages and burgers do not need as much cooking as I once thought that they did. I have just bought a second one for myself to have calibrated in Fahrenheit as I use a number of American recipes and I have just bought one as a present for my step-daughter. Excellent web site and customer service too. Cannot recommend too highly! Thank you very much for increasing my confidence in the kitchen.

At last!! Don’t take cooking info on Packaging for granted or you’ll most likely get overdone food. We bought a Thermapen temperature probe after using an ancient stab in meat testing thermometer!! What a difference, how technology moves on. So, ditch your old meat tester and get one of these instant “tell if your food is cooked tools”.

I bought the Thermapen classic and what a comfortable, fast acting thermometer! A+

Already had a wired internal temperature probe but the thermapen provides a much more accurate reading when required.

I love how easy it is to use and how quick it registers the temperature. The probe is long enough and also the auto turn on feature is fantastic!

I needed a food thermometer. Thermapen made it easy to choose which one I needed (the Thermapen Pro) and easy to order. Very well packed, it arrived remarkably quickly. I had a minor problem using it (pilot error I will now confess) and made a service call to Eti. They were absolutely brilliant to deal with and so helpful - why can’t this be the standard everywhere? - and my problems was solved beyond my expectations. I cannot speak more highly of them. As for the product, now that I have mastered it, it is fast and accurate and does very well everything I have needed it for. Both the company and the product have my highest recommendation.

This is a very well made and classy cooking thermometer and is very reliable for roasts and cooking - used often with my Weber Kettle to obtain perfectly cooked meat joints and chicken - highly recommended

I learned of the thermapen thermometer’s existence from reading an article written by a professional chef. The response of the thermometer to temperature changes is rapid (after a 2-3 sec delay, which I can confirm) and it is said to be precise (with a precision range about ±0.1 ˚C, I think). It might be perceived as a bit pricey, but easy to use and really worth the investment.
