I own two of the same bottles. One is defective. I was unable to get any help from Travis, who insisted on telling me how I was not following the instructions correctly. One bottle was perfect, the other was not. Took 30-40 seconds to filter and it was hard, requiring me to get a male travel companion to do it for me. Then it took 9 days to dry, pushing air through as in the instructions, 3x every 3 days, until it finally dried. The other bottle dried in 3 days after pushing air through once. I was just hoping you would give me a bottle that functions properly, like our other one. I got nowhere. He managed to make me feel incompetent with every email, no matter how much time I took to try to get him to understand what was happening and how our two bottles functioned totally different from one another. I finally gave up in frustration. I think Travis should not be in Customer Service, more a disservice kind of guy. Hope this review helps.

I’m extremely happy with the Grayl GeoPress. It’s not just a fantastic product, but the entire experience around it has been outstanding. What really impressed me, beyond the bottle itself, is their customer service. They respond incredibly fast and handle any issue with efficiency and care. I recently contacted customer services via the website to clarify about the level of testing that Grayl undertake. They were able to prove that as advertised it had been tested in relation to removing viruses by providing a copy of the testing labs report. I intend to order one soon as a result of it.

I have used the 16 oz. Grayl a lot since I’ve gotten it, and it functions, as far as I can tell, exactly as it’s advertised. However, I really need the larger model. I am ALWAYS hiking, camping, and training for big backcountry hunts or long fly fishing river trips, and the 16 oz just needs to be filled too many times during the day. I’ve used it in springs, rivers, lakes, and in clear and dirty water, and it works as advertised. I even use it at restaurants when there is self fill water stations and I get a ton of inquiries about it, which has allowed me a ton of opportunity to tell people about Grayl. I have some African water well drilling trips coming up and these would be invaluable to the teams there. Thanks for the work you’re doing. Great product! P. S. My partner and I recently went to a country where we can’t trust the drinking water. We bought GRAYL bottles and have been drinking the tap water confidently, keeping us hydrated for our adventures without resorting to bottled water. Yay!
